Download attendance list in a Teams meeting
Download an attendance list from a Teams meeting

Thank you for the feedback and waiting for this feature with patience. We have enabled download of a meeting attendance list during a meeting. This is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy.
See documentation for this feature here: https://support.office.com/article/download-attendance-reports-in-teams-ae7cf170-530c-47d3-84c1-3aedac74d310
Note: We are continuing to work on enabling download after a meeting has concluded, as well.
Thanks.

An important ask from senior management is to have a dashboard (preferably) or atleast a report view at end of day, showing how many details like - how many classes conducted, who were the teachers, how many participants (and who), how long did they attend the session, etc.
In short, the Principal / Vice Chancellor should have access to usage analytics. -

Really looking forward for this. I'm a teacher. A smart kid will log on, and go do other stuff, yet an unintelligent attendance-function will have him recorded as "present" :-)
It would be nice, if the meeting-owner could activate some kind of "are-you-still-there" function, that would appear every x-times per y-period during class.

Would be good to contain tracking property their in/out active time in the online environment. Their percentage of engagement in the conversation and accessing course material. Attending lecture etc.. Then cross reference with their Grade.. the concept almost like a nutrient body check... what ingredients are having the effect to a group or individual learning body.

Online K-12 teachers could potentially have up over 100 students in attendance simultaneously. Too serve our students at 100% efficiency, we need to know who is in attendance, stayed in attendance, and was active (chat replies for checks for understanding. I teach middle school Computer Science STEM at the top school in District and Denver. Communication, connection and Microsoft are key to our success. Please, help us serve our students! Thank you!

Hello! Name and email address are priority, and time in and time out like others have mentioned would *really* help.

Having the same data that can be exported from a live event for any meeting would be great. Email address/time in and time out would solve so many problems with using teams for class lecture purposes.

I can add one more point in addition to the points in the comments:
- We need to know who is active online and follow the lecture (as we talk about class team). Therefore I think it is good if I can as a teacher to poll a question for students and allow them to answer it directly in the meeting and collect the answers in pdf or excel file. It is good if I can decide the type of polled question and how much time that they can take to answer the question. Also,
It is good, if it allow the teacher to share the final results with the class (anonymously). -

I also agree with the earlier posts (Hafiz, and Marjolein), the following information would extremely helpful.
Summary:
1- Who attends it.
2- if the class is 2 hours, who complete it and not. (Time tracking individually)
3- Who is most active to
4- Who is the idlest ranking
6- Summary of the chat (downloaded in excel or pdf)BUT ALSO, I would really like to have a signature page. I am a related service provider, attendance is fine but I also like the opportunity to have members of a meeting "sign" to approve or indicate that a service is provided.

This would be helpful in that right now it is hard to see all the students in the class, especially once the presentation starts. Currently I can hover over every image to take attendance. It would also be helpful to have a time stamp of when a participant enters and leaves a meeting.

Thank you, I agree that participants start, end, and duration are key for the reporting, and also that we need it to be downloadable to excel. Additional information as how often each student talked and for how long it would be great (but maybe not a priority as a first step)
Still better if there were the possibility to search for all these "meeting detail" reports for a given user.
For instance, the teacher could get the "meeting detail" reports of all his lessons of the week as well as all the "meeting detail" reports of a given student (to check or compare his behaviour in different meetings). For a teacher this could help in track students attendance to lessons, to check if students were more or less active during lessons, to find who has started the lesson before the teacher (when this happens) or who left before the end , ...
Some information are already shown in the team admin center - call history - but it seems to me that not all the participants are always shown (but maybe I'm wrong)

Student start, end, and duration is key for the reporting; downloadable to excel. Activity including chat and file sharing would be great.
For the actual report it would be great to have a PII version of HR data, and a non-PII version of the results. some times we want to track how various orgs, professions, disciplines, and standard titles are participating without actual names, some times we need names to meet a completion requirement. Maybe PII data is only available to the meeting organizer. -

Exactly like Hafiz already said:
Summary:

2- if the class is 2 hours, who complete it and not. (Time tracking individually)
3- Who is most active to
4- Who is the idlest ranking
6- Summary of the chat (downloaded in excel or pdf) -

This would be a useful tool to track attendance and monitor after the session

The ability to see who was present for a meeting and for how long (%).
If this could also be tracked for a team over a series of meetings that would be great. -

I need to see who attends meetings and/or training sessions to make sure information is reaching the right audience.
I just want something similar to the Outlook Calendar Tracking feature:
Name, Response (Accepted, No Response, Declined), Attended (Y/N)
The length of time they were on the meeting would be nice to have, but not strictly necessary as a first step.
