Download attendance list in a Teams meeting
Download an attendance list from a Teams meeting
Thank you for the feedback and waiting for this feature with patience. We have enabled download of a meeting attendance list during a meeting. This is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy.
See documentation for this feature here: https://support.office.com/article/download-attendance-reports-in-teams-ae7cf170-530c-47d3-84c1-3aedac74d310
Note: We are continuing to work on enabling download after a meeting has concluded, as well.

Download after would be great.

oh, maybe provide some kind of custom filename policy, or add name of meet + date (any basic details?)

It would be awesome to turn on via admin policy some kind of "auto download attendance list" flag.
All owners of a Team should be able to do this, not just the organiser of the meeting. And particularly as stated this should be possible after the meeting.
It is easy to forget to download the meeting attendance list during a meeting, especially for teachers. It would be really nice if we can get the option to download them after a meeting. As teachers, we should be able to see every activity (students who join, leave, rejoin) even after we are disconnected in a meeting and rejoin that meeting - not just the activity log or attendance list related to the part after we rejoined the meeting.
The default setting for this feature is ridiculous. I just recently found out that this feature has to be turned on individually. At least in an education setting this feature's default setting should be "on" for Owners of the Team. It is insane to me that it is not. Fix this please.

The linked documentation is a bit ambiguous - it states that you have to download the attendance report while the meeting is still going and with all participants still present, but then it also says that attendee leave time is included in the report. Can you clarify this?
Would like to be able to download attendance after an event. Thank you.
Colleagues at our institution really need the ability to download the list after the event. Can you make this a priority please?

In the additional work to be done/being done can we have a unique identifier (email address) so we can tell the difference between students with the same name and also help integrate with other systems?
Download attendance ability for others, not just the meeting organizer.
Download attendance post meetings - the ability for the admin to delegate who can access this, not just the organizer

I would like to know can a tallying feature be added to the attendance. This feature will allow the teacher to know how long a certain student was present in that meet, for the week or month. I understand that we can download an excel sheet at the end of the meeting. However, to do that 5 times a day can become distracting. I could add up the minutes per student on each excel sheet. But I know Mircosoft can find a better more convenient way, to keep track of the minutes a a student was in the meeting. (Even if its only for the general meeting instead of the channels)

Any presenter in a meeting should have the ability to download the attendance report - NOT just the meeting organizer.
In our organization, we have some administrators who create the MS Teams meetings for our instructors. Hence, the administrators are the meeting organizers, and are the only ones who can download the attendance. Since they are not actually IN the class, and since the instructor cannot download it for a class that someone else set up, the download feature becomes virtually useless.
NOTE: In the interim, we considered using the Participant Chat feature to see who participated. Unfortunately, the chat lists everyone who was INVITED to the meeting, whether or not they attended. That is not useful.
Sorry if already stated, but another feature for this would be file location for the download. We have teachers travel from classroom to classroom, and if they download attendance, it goes to C:/User/Name/Downloads which is no longer accessible when they move to the new classroom.
Maybe onedrive? We redirect desktop and document folders, so they would travel as well.

We need to be able to download the attendance AFTER the meeting has ended. Even the ability to have it auto send to a chosen folder after each meeting has completed.

Hi, it would be great to have a feature that auto run before the teacher's entrance to the meeting that if you didn't make the waiting lobby active
and can be timed with the end of the meeting so that teachers can easily just download it in his free time especially when you have a tied schedule and you need to take attendance before the end of class to make sure no one left before the class ends. Yes we can take at the beginning but at the end you need them to stay and take a second one before they leave
Another option is the teacher activates the feature at the beginning the difference is that it is only for attendance and he can come back to it whenever he wants after the session.

The attendance list should automatic populate after each session. It is available now, however, if you close the session, it is unavailable.
It's great to have this feature - thank you.

We already have the ability to download the attendance list after the meeting concludes, as long as the organizer does not hang up. I figured this out by accident, and it's the best way to ensure you capture all of the attendees. The trick is not closing out your Teams session until after you've downloaded it. I'm not the best at remembering to do that and tested it out one day and it worked great!
However, the downloaded list is no match for the functionality Skype currently provides by automatically logging the attendees in OneNote, which is what I would really like to see y'all work on. We are being forced to stop using Skype and as a project manager with meetings that sometimes near 100 participants, even using the downloaded list can be a nightmare in trying to reconcile in OneNote. It wastes a ton of time. I do appreciate you trying to make enhancements. Would like to see the OneNote enhancement first. Thanks!
We're trying to build an attendance management system for our college and face the issue of multiple users with the same name in the attendee list. Hence, requesting to include *EMAIL ADDRESS* in the attendees' list.
It's a huge hassle to verify who attended(manually if identical names) and when the class strength is huge, it's difficult to map them to their roll to mark attendance.(which is why we're building an attendance mgmt app)
