Adjust camera brightness in MS Teams
We need the ability to adjust the camera brightness in MS Teams. The camera is very dark and no matter how I adjust the camera in the software or outside of Teams it will not appear brighter within Teams video chat.

I agree with this. There are numerous posts complaining about the teams camera being darker than the windows camera.
This is an issue that disproportionately effects those with darker skin, making it harder to see facial features and needs to be addressed.

Even if the camera is not a problem itself, a white background is.
I wish I would not have to use the Webcam system settings tool in the MS Store to fix this. -

I bought a Microsoft LifeCam Studio webcam specifically to be compatible with Microsoft Teams but the camera is unusable in Teams because it is so dark. It is fine in Zoom (or any other camera apps I have tried it with) so I have had to purchase a Zoom account purely for sessions when I cant use my Laptop camera. Please fix.

I had to ditch the brand new LifeCam I bought. It worked with my husband's Surface Laptop, and desktop by not my Surface Pro. Spent a lot of time troubleshooting and couldn't figure it out.

Same exact issue, LifeCam and Teams. There's another feature request that has a little more traction, asking in general for camera settings adjustment rather than specifically just brightness:

Same issue, also using the LifeCam. If I'm in WebEx there is a properties panel that lets me control brightness, white balance, etc. It's extensive but handy.
A side-by-side comparison between Teams and WebEx shows that my Teams sessions have significantly less brightness.

Same happening for me with LifeCam 3000. We need the camera control panel within Teams!
