make the default setting for video calls "Fit to Frame"
When video calls are made to multiple people, the camera tries to pan and find each person in the room instead of being fixed. I would like to be able to set the cameras as "fit to frame" instead of having to click each user and do that.

Please add this! Also the option to have a policy organization wide!

Agreed. It would be great to provide either a default setting, or a single "fit all to frame" option to make the process of moving to fit videos to a frame easier.

100% agree. Telling users to manually change each time is frustrating, but after setting up a full logitech tap room system and not having the ability to manually change this provides a horible experience. especially these days as many people connect from their phone in portrait mode...

Please make 'fit to frame' the default setting or give admins the option of creating org-wide policies to set the defaults for all users.

Agreed. This is causing problems for users who speak by Sign Language. "Fit to Frame" as default would solve this.

It's not just that it looks so much better - the current default just doesn't work when couples are sitting next to each other in meeting. A zoomed-in view of the space in between two people just doesn't cut it, and the wandering camera - just when is that ever going to work to a satisfying level in a noisy environment?
Every time I use Teams it's my personal preference to use 'fit to frame', and I'm sure Microsoft have plenty of telemetry and are making assumptions about people's preferences that DON'T take into account the fact that a number of people won't know how to change it but would change it if they could.
But aside from my personal preferences, in order to avoid meetings with wandering cameras and the focus being on the space BETWEEN two people sitting in front of the same laptop, if I could make the default 'fit to frame' for the whole organisation, then I would.

This should be considered an accessibility improvement if that helps raise its priority -- sort of like parallax backgrounds and other motion effects being disabled for accessibility reasons. I start getting motion sick after more than a minute or two of the face tracking in fit-to-frame.

Agreed. Please consider either making the default mode "Fit to Frame" or letting the user set the default. Fill Frame mode is not intuitive.

I'm really not a fan of the Fill Frame mode and would love to be able to manage that system wide.

This is a desirable feature with conference communications that a lot of users would benefit from.

At least make this a user-configurable default setting that is pushed out to all participants (who may override the setting during a meeting.
Conference solutions like https://www.owllabs.com/ require Fit to Frame for a good user experience. The presenter using the Owl Labs camera cannot "broadcast" to all participants that their view should be Fit to Frame. Instead, each participant must individually right-click an select Fit to Frame for a good experience.

Having this option as default would greatly benefit Teams-calls. If two people attend a meeting one sometimes falls out of the screen image unless this option is set. It seems a solid idea to make this a default or at least a policy setting. Please consider adding this feature.
