Make Class Materials folder accessible through Teams mobile apps
Currently the Class Materials read only folder is not accessible in Teams IOS app
I’m very happy to announce that the Class Materials folder is now available on iOS and Android devices! Go to the Microsoft Teams app to now see the Class Materials folder.
I have 1.4k students depending on this feature. Why is taking so long?? SHAME!
This is a *major problem* in a core function. We need this now!! How in the earth you release an "educational plataform" with this feature broken??
Any idea when the android app will be available! Help!

Yeah, we absolutely need this available on Android - this is really interfering with our ability to teach students at home.
If this isn't resolved, we'll probably have to move remote T+L to another platform.

We're in the middle of a pandemic and I'm trying to keep my grade 12 physics students on track so they'll be properly prepared for post-secondary next year. Since I can't teach them in person I have posted several video lessons to the Class Materials folder, only I'm new to this platform and didn't realize half my students can't watch them on their phones because they're android, as am I. How is this coming along? Will this be ready in time to be useful, or do I need to use something else?
We need this now! This is a huge, HUGE problem!
We use MS Teams for education.
Why I cannot see the read-only dictionary that was published by the teacher on android devices ? ( in web/ desktop/ios These are visible, so this is problem only on android)

Do you know when this will be fixed for the Android app? Lots of schools likely going to be using it over the next coming weeks and the sooner this is in place the better. Any info, much appreciated.

We are one school of 70+ in the group. The entire group are currently in the throws of a huge migration of all schools to o365 in a truly 'cloud first' strategy. However, nearly every road we turn down, Microsoft do something weird and wonderful to make the experience less than ideal.
It is absolutely bonkers that this folder is only available via the browser and not in the mobile app.
Stop shooting yourself in the foot, listen to your clients base and fix the fundamental issues before trying to be super-whizzy with other features! Whilst you're at it, order the darn files/folders by name and not last modified - or at least give us the option. As you're looking at that, give us the ability to change the landing page when hitting a channel (I want to go straight to files, not the chat window).
I'll stop now as the list of niggles is quite lengthy...
Frustrated of Hertfordshire
We really would really appreciate it if this feature to be added to the app...I only learnt about this issue today, when I found some files were missing from my own view on the app - so thank you in advance for working on this :-)!
I am using Teams for the first time with an online course. In my testing of the product I put up one assignment in class material. I thought this was great until last evening I was using the mobile app on my iPhone and IPad and could not find the class material. Being new to the application I thought I was doing something wrong until I decided to do some research.
I agree with many of the comments the app should have the same functionality as the desktop. Having students bop around from one app to the other has no value added. It is hard to believe that the first post was in June and there is still not a fix for this.
I use Moodle for my course but it cannot accept large files. My students must do video presentations so Teams was recommended.
After one day of frustration, I will be looking for another application to fill my need.
It's 2020 and this fix has still not happened. It's becoming increasingly frustrating to use with students.
When can we expect this. Can't find anything in the roadmap

This also needs to apply to SharePoint sites added on PC using the '+ Add Cloud Storage' option.
Please when is it ready?
