Set a meeting to auto-record
When I schedule a meeting with a large group, I often record it so that those who are not able to attend can receive the same information as those who do. As happens, though, I sometimes forget to start the recording until well after the meeting has started, defeating some of the purpose of recording the meeting in the first place. It would be nice to have the meeting auto-record (with notification of course) or to get a prompt to start the recording if it hasn't started within a defined amount of time.
Agreed, I support that feature request
This is an option available in other platforms and would really be helpful here in Teams. With all the other things a teacher is trying to do at the beginning of the meeting (take attendance, let people in through the lobby, etc.) I find I often forget to click on that record meeting button. This is a needed function.

I also want this feature. I sometimes forget to hit record so the feature should be a save feature which should ask if you would like to save recording after you stop recording so even if you forget it will serve as a reminder. I will request this but I think we are both on the same page.
