Private student-teacher replies on Assignments in Microsoft Teams
When I give a student feedback on an assignment in Microsoft Teams, I can leave them a private comment. However, the student cannot reply. I would students to have this option both before and after they submit the assignment. That would allow students to ask questions about their work.
It would be useful to be able to create a short note for the teacher or controller. Just to say something like "sorry this was late," or "I have done the work but I didn't quite understand."
I think that would be a god feature
I would like to see the feedback that I provide a student on their assignment be automatically sent to said student in the form of a chat so that there can be a dialogue between myself (the teacher) and the student about the feedback that I've provided. This would be particularly helpful in online only classes, where I do not ever meet with students face to face.
If you let students add a private chat on assignments like google classroom does, they will be able to explain themselves, or ask a question, or add a reason for something. It was a really nice feature that google has and im dissapointed that you dont
Students and teachers should be able to have a private chat back and forth on assignments as opposed to adding oneway feedback only. This is an invaluable tool on the current platform we use as a school and would be a deal breaker for moving over to Teams as our students use private comments regularly on Classrooms.
Also helpful if the assignment requires student to complete a task on a different application that cannot be submitted via the assignments tab. Student could write a comment to the teacher indicating that the assignment was completed and submit comment instead. Provides teacher with info with students who have met the deadline.
This is a particularly useful feature and should be so easy!
