Use Mac GUI visuals, not Windows visuals on Mac
On Teams for Mac (and other Microsoft products for Mac), why is it that Microsoft tries to "look" like Windows on MacOS? The notifications, for example, should use Mac notification styles. Why make something that looks so out of place? E.g., Slack doesn't do this. Why Microsoft? You will get far more support form Mac users if you simply make apps for Mac that look like they fit with MacOS and are not some butchered port of a Windows application.

Turning off notifications in Mac doesn't turn off notifications from the crummy Teams app. So, when sharing a screen, attendees see private information. Inexcusable, Microsoft!

Agreed. If I have a notification already there (via the native macOS system), the Teams notification shows up under it, making it unreadable.
Yup - location of preferences (settings) is also very strange and not consistent. Preferences on mac should be in the app menu from the titlebar (but thank you for making the keyboard shortcut work)
