Hide folders and files in the teams sharepoint library
I want to be able to hide certain folders or files in the SharePoint library of a team and channel
Yes! Right now there is only the option to stop sharing in Sharepoint. There is no option to restart sharing to the same channel/Team. Teachers need this simple hide/unhide files feature!

When you have files and materials for complete courses or units, it would be great to add them all to a teams file section invisibly. Later, when the students are ready for the next file, you could just click an icon in the file list to make it visible to them.
You could achieve this today by editing permissions for each file in SP, but that takes too much work to be of any good use.
I understand this would mean some serious changes to the Sharepoint file view, but it would be a GREAT feature for teachers, so please consider it!
Would like to 'Hide' and 'Unhide' folders and files that are shared with students (having an icon (eye open/eye closed) to change visability of files or folders.

I would have to add that a "Teacher Only" folder or read only folder that is also accessible through Teams Assignments. It would be helpful in a Master Team concept, to be able to store docs in Files section of that Team, and then when I go to Add Resources, for that folder to be accessible to pull files from. Right now any files already in Teams are not available to add to an assignment, unless it is in the OneNote notebook.

This is important because it enables a teacher to release material slowly to students. It prevents students racing ahead with work but not doing it correctly.
This would assist the smooth delivery of my units of work
this is critical to teaching in my subject. Thanks

Would like to 'Hide' and 'Unhide' folders and files that are shared with students. Teachers planning and creating resources for a unit are often creating and adding resources that are not meant for immediate distribution.
