Please could you implement notifications at the OS level on Mac? Then the app will respect system-wide settings and I won't miss most notifications.

Could you port Visual Basic 95 to macos and then rewrite the notifications so they appear full-screen announced by Bonzi Buddy? I think this at a bare minimum would make the whole dismal stack of teams slightly less embarrassing.
Please use native MacOS notifications...
I would love to see Teams using the native notifications...

When Do Not Disturb is turned on in Mac OS, any app that presents notifications should be silenced. This is very important during classroom lectures or meetings where a screen is being shared. Alas Teams doesn't honor this, so it spews notifications for the whole classroom to see.

Teams' internal notifications do not display when the Mac's screen is locked with a screensaver, or asleep either, but integrating Teams' notifications with the macOS system notification would handle this correctly.

I've missed so many notifications from Teams because they pop up in the corner then disappear. Using the Notifications API on macOS would let the notifications appear in Notification Center AND would still allow for replies directly in the notification.
