Teams on Safari
G'day Microsoft Teams Team,
Firstly - well done on the new Teams updates with enhanced assignment and OneNote functionality/Integration. Awesome.
But... as a school with a MacOSX device environment we are still waiting for Teams to work within Safari. Any eta on when this will happen (other than a vague - 'it's coming')???
Looking forward to working with my staff team on the change management journey getting our classes set up in the Teams environment.

This should have happened day one. I am one of the many that will NEVER install Chrome and there is no real need to install yet another piece of software that does the exact same thing as software that I already have.

You can't open files in Safari - you can open in Chrome. If I could choose the default app, I would choose Chrome so the files open, instead of being sent to a safari page telling me the brewers is not compatible. (I have no intention of not using Safari as the default for the Mac OS as I love it's functionality, but I do have Chrome - so I would like to select teams to open files in Chrome).

it's not officially supported but is in preview. When is this coming? Critical if I'm going to use teams to set meetings with consumers.

Teams now works on safari. Bear in mind it is very slow, as a safari user.
