Install Teams App per Device
Currently the Teams app installs per user instead of per device. For schools that are interested in using Teams on the desktop this is not ideal. There should be a way to install the Teams app on a device and then prompt the user to login when they open the app or allow them to open the app via Teams in Office 365, similar to the functionality in Word Online.

I am looking to deploy Teams to Fire Stations, for which many people share desktop PCs. We already have (roaming) profile related issues with these PCs, so it would be good to have the ability to install the app to the device rather than individual profiles.

This is essential for school management.

Hi @Teams dev team -
Absolutely agree with this request. It is essential for our rollout and is now hindering us fully embracing the teams client (which is functionally far superior) to the web version.
Shared Device rollouts blocked
We have about 8000 students who at present can only make use of the web version, as the desktop installer has been blocked. The reason being we have SSD drives in the majority of student workstations with limited capacity. Once we've loaded on all the other software used around the college, it doesn't leave a lot of space for ballooning user profiles.
The teams client currently occupies a minimum of 600MB per user, so on a shared device, so, where we have learning labs, and computer suites, that can see a workstation used by 20 individuals in a day, by the end of a week we would have filled all remaining space on the drive just with teams installations.
Please can you make an MSI based enterprise wide installer we can use to create a per device install of the Teams client.
This really is essential for us to be able to fully unlock teams.

We need this in the schools so that we can have things functioning better.
