Add ability to set dates for assignments to be posted
It would be great to create an assignment and instead of save draft be able to chose a date for the assignment to be posted for students.

I agree! We often plan our assignments around what we plan to teach, & most of us are so busy it becomes too much of a hassle to have to remember or set a reminder for ourselves to go into the drafts section & click Assign.

Can you set up your assignments in advance and have them show up on date assigned so you can pre assign you work?

For example, I might schedule a mark scheme to become visible to students a week after I set a test.
