Integrate OneNote into Teams
Right now, when you "integrate" OneNote as a Tab in a channel it is just a web browser that opens a notebook in OneNote Online. Could you really integrate OneNote into Teams like you did with Planner?

This feature has been in the standard Teams since January 2018. The only word for Teams EDU users seems to be 'except education' with no date or acknowledgement it is even being worked on.

Please improve the OneNote functionality in Teams - this has been our number one complaint as we onboard departments into Teams. Non-edu tenants have the ability to add a specific OneNote notebook as a tab in the team - why is this not available for edu? Many of our departments have multiple notebooks that they need to access within teams and they currently can only do this by going to the files tab.

This works for Teams for "not education". Why not fix this for education?

This seems to be something that should have been done from the start. Not integrating MS Office products and functionality into a collaboration tool seems to be a mistake.
I'm pretty sure that I could run a Google Hangout and collaborate in real-time within Google apps.....

We use One Note to take meeting min and need the collapse sub page functionality to help keep a massive number of notes pages organized. Users do not want to have to leave the Teams app to get necessary and basic functionality.
