Let the Teacher (owner) delete a conversation posted by a student (member).
Currently the Teacher (owner) can only mute the student (member), and ask the student to delete their conversation post.
Teachers can have the ability to delete conversation posts in Teams by having your IT Admin enable the “Allow owners to delete all messages” setting in the O365 admin control center. Please reach out to your IT Admin to have this setting enabled for your school.

When I create a Class Team, I am able to delete students posts. When a use a Class Team created through sds I am not able to delete student posts.

Currently, teachers (team managers) cannot delete posts in the conversation channel. It would help if the manager can delete off-topic or inappropriate posts.

It's interesting an all the Microsoft support pages imply this is something users should be able to accomplish. Teachers would absolutely love the extra little bit of control over the dialogue and to be able to clean up the conversation if things gets a little salty.
