  1. reply to messages

much like whatsapp where you can reply to a specific message and that particular message will be quoted alongside the reply. Also the function to reply privately to a message sent in a group setting would be helpful

  2. Delete past Team chats in chat mode (both sender and receiver chats).

Chats should not be never-ending storage of a chat, and we should be able to delete individual chats as instructors or keep them ( both the sender and receiver chat). I realize we can delete our own, but we need the option to delete both our own as well as the students. We should have that option.

Thank you for your feedback. This feature is under development and is planned for later this year. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

In the meantime, you can try using the keyboard shortcut to toggle mute (Ctrl+Shift+M). For more information on keyboard shortcuts, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/keyboard-shortcuts-for-microsoft-teams-2e8e2a70-e8d8-4a19-949b-4c36dd5292d2.

  4. Shifts auto Approval shift swaps

When 2 team members swap shifts, have an option for it to not require approval from a manager.

Hi – Thank you so much for you feedback. This is Amir from Teams Shifts product team. We have this ask in our product backlog as a capability that the manager can enable under settings. Question – do you see a scenarios where you do want managers to approve swaps?
