  1. Pop out windows for calls/meetings

    Ability to separate out calls/meetings from the desktop client so that you can still work on Teams while in a meeting

  2. Disable announcement when a dial in user joins a meeting

    It is exceptionally disruptive and annoying that call in users are loudly announced by the system when they join or leave a meeting. Please implement a way to disable this audio announcement.

    Hi all, good news. With the new feature, any user who schedules a Teams meeting will see a new setting in Meeting Options page of a meeting to control the announcement sound when a PSTN/dial-in participant joins or leaves the meeting. Such update is also available on our Microsoft 365 Roadmap : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?featureid=59919

    To give some context, admin already has the ability to turn on or off for the entire organization whether dial in user would get an entry/exit announcement. With the new feature, meeting organizer can further disable such announcement on a per-meeting level.
