assignment notification turn on/off
The ability to turn ASSIGNMENT NOTIFCATIONS off. The ability to also customize whether or not Assignment Postings automatically get posted to your classroom homepage -- Give us flexibility to tell MS Teams where we want all the Assignment "messages" or Postings to notify our students at. When it happens within the main chat, it is so HARD to find what the teacher/student posted to the main thread when you are fishing through "assignment posted" notifications everywhere.

Assignments - Printing Comments and Feedback (for EV purposes)
Ability to print feedback view of an assignment with:
The assignment itself
Comments within the assignment
Summative feedback comment at the end
This would be great for when people need to print off work for external verifiers.

Teacher "Dashboard" with reminders for assignments that need to be graded, especially with notifications if a student turns in an assignment
A Dashboard that shows teachers what needs to be graded. A "To Review" section that shows only assignments handed in late to make sure teachers are getting notified each time a student turns in an assignment.
Assignments should also be sorted based on what's completed and waiting to review, what's already been graded, and what is not turned in.It's a big hassle not getting notifications each time a student turns something in, because there is no other way of knowing short of reminders from them.

Add or share assignment to multiple classes / teams
It would be awesome to be able to share the same assignment with multiple teams. As it is, I have to copy/paste my assignment multiple times - sometimes as many as twenty!
60 votesWe’ve had this for a while! Here’s more info on how this works :) https://support.office.com/en-us/article/assign-work-to-multiple-classes-at-once-e7d4eb6d-f2d8-486f-b412-69789bd9d009

Building Assignments in Teams
I used Classroom last school year and loved building assignments with this tool. There are many features found in Classroom that allowed teachers to build assignments easily and effectively that are not in TEAMS. Teachers need to be able to:
- Link Notebook pages to the assignment.
- Search for videos and resources to link to assignments from Teams like it was able to do so in Classroom.
- Share assignments with other Teams. To have to replicate assignments per Team for the courses taught is not practical.

Item 1 and 3 exist.
I will follow up on number 2 and provide a status soon.-Warren

View all assignments from across teams
Currently, in the assignments tab, you must select a class to view assignments. However, if you are in many different teams, you may want to view assignments from all classes in one menu (with no additional clicks needed), so that you don't accidentally miss any.
Example:
Currently, in the assignments tab, you click on each class to view assignmentsWhat I propose:
Add a slider, named "View all assignments", that when checked, shows all assignments that have not been completed on this one screen.58 votes -
Add multiple OneNote pages as a resource to assignment
Currently, you can only specify one OneNote page for an assignment. I often have multiple pages that students would need as part of a single assignment.

Month View in Assignment Area
In addition to the week view, it would be awesome to also have the option to view by month.

Forms on assignments in teams
On teams when an assignment is created it would be excellent if we could create a form on it. E.g. A set of maths questions that a pupil can answer and receive feedback and a score as soon as submitted - the form results could then be displayed within the review by owner section.

Notifications- Assignments for students and work to review for students
It would be very helpful if students were notified when they are given an assignment- or at least for there to be a notify students option.
Also, I need notifications when students turn in work to review in a centralized area. It is quite a hassle to click through each team and hunt for any turned in work. Until submitting assignments is more user-friendly, it is not practical to be used.52 votes -
Ink while grading assignments + grades syncs to LMS
Be better than Google Classroom by...
- Allowing teacher to ink while grading assignments.
- Connecting Teams to LMS so assignments and grades entered in Teams automatically gets entered in the school district's LMS.Teams needs to get better before teachers will leave Google Classroom. If Microsoft can get the above items done, it would leapfrog passed Google.
C'mon, we are waiting.51 votes -
Allow assignments to be handed in using the camera feature
At the moment, camera scanning only allows users to send documents to channels or to chats. There should also be a feature allowing assignments to be handed in using the camera scanning

Return assignments back to students and Feedback showing before assignments graded/reviewed
In Classroom there was a button when reviewing the students work to return the assignment back to the student if it was not correct. Then the student could resubmit the correct assignment/attachment. Can Teams please have that function? Also, can the feedback that is given on an assignment be visible to the student even if there assignment has not been reviewed/graded yet.

Check Spelling in the Feedback Box of an Assignment
When writing in any of the feedback boxes of an assignment (the "main" feedback box, or any of the rubric feedback boxes) there is no spelling punctuation or grammar checking.

rubric option for students grading themself
It would be better if the students can also grade themself with the rubric option so that the teacher can compare his rubric with the one from the student. Hope this would be possible soon.

Printing student assignments
With some assignments, teachers would like to print off student work. However, the steps are very cumbersome. For example, with Word documents, the teacher needs to open each document in the Word (Client) and print the document from there. In Microsoft Classroom, there were less steps to print. If there was an option where a teacher could print off an entire class' assignment from within a single screen, that would be very beneficial.

Allow video to be recorded directly into an assignment.
Similar to Seesaw, students should be able to respond to an assignment via video, directly into the assignment. This would be without having to use an app or the additional step of including a link or uploading to the assignment.

Set an assignment to a tag
We now have tags within a team - let us assign an assignment to just a tag rather than selecting names manually!

Rubric should calculate partial points
If my rubric contains partial credit, such as 0.5 points for an answer that is somewhat correct, the rubric does not calculate the partial points. It rounds down to the nearest whole number. If Teams is going to allow me to put 0.5 points in as a potential score for a category, it should calculate it correctly.
