Participant controls in meetings - block attendee video
Just another Skype for Business feature that hasn't been built in Teams yet - need the ability to block / disable all attendee video as part of standard participant controls (including make all participants attendees, mute all, mute lock etc.) This was done really well in Skype for Business, but for some reason we are starting from scratch with meeting participant controls in Teams.

Thank you for your feedback! The team is planning for this work. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
For the separate feature ask to disable attendee audio, we are pleased to announce this has been released. For more information, please see this UserVoice item https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/39784519.

Kids started online schooling and for the kids to not have extreme lag issues and interruptions they should be able to just see the teachers video and the teacher see thenvnot 20 other kids.

Blocking attendee video could be very useful for education if a student is engaging in seriously inappropriate behavior. Having the ability to block the video quickly would be highly appreciated.

This is required and is just as important as force mute which is being trialed by Microsoft now. Please include the option to force off video for all users in large presentations.

Some time in webinar, people on their camera , their video is not important for the webinar participants. A similar option like mute, a option should be there . only presenter or organizer can share camera.

My goodness what a no brainer...middle school teacher just informed me they don't have this capability and I couldn't believe it...she has no way to keep 30 kids videos from appearing when all she's trying to do is teach a class, share her screen and ask them to raise their hands using the app...I felt certain TEAMS would have this option like GoToMeeting...
You HAVE to add the capability to turn off attendee's cameras and microphones...I also found out if you mute someones mic they can simply turn it back on on their screen side.
GIVE ORGANIZERS MORE CONTROL OPTIONS PLEASE.

It is something that most all presenters and organizers want to have the ability to accomplish. As stated most if not all the other platforms support turning video off of participants.

Unbelievable this isn't a thing yet.

Urgent! Students (kids) showing inappropriate content to each other. Let the presenter mute video and mic when "who can present = me only" is set. This is an URGENT missing feature for minor school teachers.

Can’t believe this isn’t already a feature? You can mute, lower someone’s hand and throw them out but not stop their inappropriate video feed? Come on Microsoft!!

There should be a cancel or mute video button for attendees in addition to the ability to mute attendees within a meeting

I 100% agree. Our teachers should have the option to not let the other students see each other and only her. All of those cameras on and all of those faces can be very distracting at times.

Is this on the roadmap? Can we get an update? I'm in a large group that is considering abandoning Teams because of the distractions and embarrassments of attendees not realizing their cameras are on.
