Pop Out/Dedicated conference & meeting window for Teams Meeting
If would be good to have a pop out dedicated window during conference call, meetings and screen sharing session like Skype for business.
Currently it is very inconvenient to continue work on TEAMS without getting calls window minimized.
The Pop-out meeting feature has been rolled out to 100% of users. You can enable the feature by going to your profile picture at the top right of Teams > Settings > General > then select Turn on new meeting experience.

It would be great to have an extra Window during a meeting. One window to see all members and the other one for Planner for example. Or you make an Planner App. :)
A lot of people brings his own laptop to a meeting (when they go to a meeting room), and they use it with a projector or a TV to share the meeting with the rest of the assistants. If the meeting can be opened in a new window, the user can interact with the different chats/teams that he receives in his own laptop (extending the screen, of course). Otherwise, this person needs the mobile with the app (something strange because you are in a meeting) or wait until the meeting ends, because he doesn't want to share all the chats with the assistants. This can enhance instant messaging even if you're in a meeting and you need to confirm or authorise something that is urgent.
I think this is also related with: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16926739-multi-window-for-chats-and-more
Make meeting window detachable so that meeting window is separate and chats window is separate. Right now, every window is within teams. It makes difficult to see presentation and as well chat with some one else.
I utilize a dedicated portrait monitor for my chat applications. I would love not to have to drag teams to another monitor when a co-worker shares a screen with me via Teams and maintain the chat window in its original location. A "pop-out" option for the screen share would be ideal.
Would it be possible to include the "pop-out" feature for the screen-share/meeting window to be independent of the Chat window? This way, you are able to maximize the screen-share while still being able to address any pressing chat messages in a separate window.

Instead of voting for this one, I recommend to vote for this one which has the momentum:
Very hard to interact in other teams or channels while in a meeting!
Pop out options within teams so we can chat and view meeting content in separate windows. messaging while in a meeting shrinks the screen and it is hard to multitask
The control bar that pops up from below once any key is pressed keeps popping up and hiding away. It is quite annoying when trying to take screen snapshots. Please provide an option to hide it.

There are some consequences to having this nested within Teams
1. As stated, it is difficult to use the application when also trying to participate in a screen share.
2. Participating in two screen shares at the same time is not functional.
3. There are many times where we are hosting a meeting and displaying the content of a screen share on a TV or projector. This removes any capacity to use the application while sharing and if you inadvertently click on a notification, then that is displayed to the people in the meeting.
The only workaround to these situations is a second machine or using the web client.
Hi, I just had first meeting via Teams and YES this is the feature I would like
The same also for the "Chat" section of Teams. It would be useful to be able pop that into a separate window.

Without this feature its incredibly hard to to be in a meeting and make use of the the rest of the application.

While attending meeting, chatting with other is difficult / meeting window will be small if we start chatting with others.
Suggestion: why cannot you change the GUI for chatting in Teams like... chatting popup from Right side of the screen with autohide option. OR same as FB chatting. OR simple as SFB separate chatting window whenever it required... etc

Agreed. Rarely do I have the luxury of working on one thing at a time. The multi-window / multi-task is critical to this being more closely integrated into my daily work.

One of the big faults with Teams is that in a meeting you cannot easily access files / conversations / channels and keep the presentation / meeting in focus. The ability to separate the meeting window from the Teams interface would greatly enhance meeting interaction and allow access to additional information quickly and easily for team members on the meeting.
I vote for this option

The inability to multi-task in Teams is my biggest adoption issue!

Allow Team Participants to share in a two way fashion - at the same time. User A shares Excel - User B shares Word.
Requires ability to have Team windows open at the same time, one or more monitors
I would like to see an option to decouple/float the meeting I am in so that it is independent of the application window. Constantly I have to switch from my "in progress" meeting to my chats tab, only to have the meeting minimized to a thumbnail in the top left of the screen. I can no longer see what the presenter is sharing. I'm also unable to search for shared files/notes in the teams tab without losing the meetings window. I always have multiple monitors so I would really like to be able to throw the meeting onto one monitor and use the other to chat/search for notes & files.
