Pop Out/Dedicated conference & meeting window for Teams Meeting
If would be good to have a pop out dedicated window during conference call, meetings and screen sharing session like Skype for business.
Currently it is very inconvenient to continue work on TEAMS without getting calls window minimized.

The Pop-out meeting feature has been rolled out to 100% of users. You can enable the feature by going to your profile picture at the top right of Teams > Settings > General > then select Turn on new meeting experience.
Support documentation can be found at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/get-a-preview-of-new-meeting-features-04533e91-3203-4530-a1c0-8f77c0731699.

During MS Teams meeting
when you go to a channel feed or to another part of MS Teams,
the video meeting window shows in very SMALL size in the corner, it cannot be RESIZED (made bigger) or MOVED to other part of the screen, and it cannot be put to ANOTHER separate window. So you can see a participant's shared screen only in very SMALL size, you cannot see the shared screen and your Teams window at the same time in bigger size, during meetings or training sessions.
Thank you in advance!

WebEx allows you to use one monitor for the content being displayed and another for the video grid of others on the call.
I need this option to support my multi-TV meeting rooms more effectively.

I have been looking for a way to do this - Skype does it automatically when you click away from the active Skype meeting but are still connected - it becomes a small control so you can use other apps while still keeping visibility of the meeting/call/video. Teams doesn't do this so if I have to click away during the call, I then no longer have any visibility of the meeting. Please do add this functionality - if Skype can do it, why can't Teams?

Huge bug! Please squash it quickly.

This would also be great to have an "always on top" option when in a screen share or video call

I would like to be able to open a meeting or other type of presentation in a separate window to enable use of other features without having to minimize or navigate away from the enlarged meeting window

Currently the chat does not pop up when you are in a meeting and sharing screen. Most of the other Software such as Zoom or Webex will have a pop up window which is not shared but the originator can see the chat. Also a private chat like webex would help

I was just formulating this same sentiment. It would be nice to be able to put people in break out groups for a period but then let everyone be able to join the big meeting again when they complete their workstream.

Agreed - we utilizing multiple features in Teams (sharing) and if someone is screen sharing their Teams UI and we need to collaborate on something within Teams, we have to minimize the screen share to a thumbnail. Popping screen share out to a separate resizable window would be useful.

We have two large screens in our conference room. When presenting we can see distant team members on one screen and the presentation on the other. However, when someone else is presenting it won't allow us to show their presentation on one screen and all the people on the other - the people become a small window in the corner. This doesn't make sense.

As usual for Microsoft, good idea, bad execution.

There are a lot of posts with this same topic. Would be nice if they can be consolidated, so that we can track as one

It would be great to have an extra Window during a meeting. One window to see all members and the other one for Planner for example. Or you make an Planner App. :)

A lot of people brings his own laptop to a meeting (when they go to a meeting room), and they use it with a projector or a TV to share the meeting with the rest of the assistants. If the meeting can be opened in a new window, the user can interact with the different chats/teams that he receives in his own laptop (extending the screen, of course). Otherwise, this person needs the mobile with the app (something strange because you are in a meeting) or wait until the meeting ends, because he doesn't want to share all the chats with the assistants. This can enhance instant messaging even if you're in a meeting and you need to confirm or authorise something that is urgent.
I think this is also related with: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16926739-multi-window-for-chats-and-more

Make meeting window detachable so that meeting window is separate and chats window is separate. Right now, every window is within teams. It makes difficult to see presentation and as well chat with some one else.

I utilize a dedicated portrait monitor for my chat applications. I would love not to have to drag teams to another monitor when a co-worker shares a screen with me via Teams and maintain the chat window in its original location. A "pop-out" option for the screen share would be ideal.
