Pop Out/Dedicated conference & meeting window for Teams Meeting
If would be good to have a pop out dedicated window during conference call, meetings and screen sharing session like Skype for business.
Currently it is very inconvenient to continue work on TEAMS without getting calls window minimized.

The Pop-out meeting feature has been rolled out to 100% of users. You can enable the feature by going to your profile picture at the top right of Teams > Settings > General > then select Turn on new meeting experience.
Support documentation can be found at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/get-a-preview-of-new-meeting-features-04533e91-3203-4530-a1c0-8f77c0731699.

We had this, but now it is off. I was hoping there would be an updated timeline as our organization had started using it.

Some of my users including me do not have the ability to toggle this on or off and do not have the feature set by default. We are still in the current locked view of Teams. All devices have been fully updated in all All office products. Any Suggestions?

Feature turned off automatically, not sure why. Had to turn on again and restart Teams.

We need the multi-window feature for everything at Teams. Meetings, calendar, groups, channels......

I enabled the 'new Teams meeting separate windows' option weeks back and it was working flawlessly. now the option is no longer enabled and despite re-enabling and restarting Teams the option will not enable.
Anyone else seeing this today? I have reached out to other users in my ORG and they are not experiencing the same issue. -

Thanks for providing the pop-out meeting window functionality, it's a nice improvement.
When people share presentation material, the participant videos are shown at the bottom / bottom right of the window. As participant cameras are normally above their screens, this means their eyes move away from their camera when they look at the participants, which is unfortunate. Would it be possible to make this configurable, to show participants above the material presented?

I tried the pop-out meeting feature. Now, I am ready to turn it off. Please, does anyone know how to turn it off?

Do you know what the timeline is for GCC? Currently we only have pop-outs in peer-to-peer or group chats. We don't have it in meeting chats & we don't have an option for "Turn on new meeting experience" in settings.

I hate how in the pop out windows, you cannot make the chat full screen like you could previously. Now it always takes a small area of the screen. What if you were reviewing a table in the chat. Etc.

What is missing is a way to reconnect after a connection issue. A history of attended meetings could solve this. Now when the meeting has a problem, the window can close and I loose th reference to the meeting.
At least in the old single-window design, the meeting I left remained open so I could click again on the join-buttons.

Why did we lose "enter full screen mode". Even in "Focus" mode there is too much screen real estate used by other non-essential things.

Hello, I can not seem to keep this feature enabled. I add the check restart Teams and it is unchecked. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix this?

Is there a way to know exactly when our tenant will receive this or other updates? As it is we're only informed of expected rollouts but it's difficult to communicate these changes without a better idea of rollout plans.

This feature doesn't work on the mac client. The docked control panel isn't docked at the top and the old floating version disappears never to return (hovering no longer works) once you start sharing a powerpoint. The floating controls to navigate forward and back in a powerpoint are now gone as well.

It's annoying that the control bar does not disappear fast and sometimes it stays forever blocking the content being presented or the face of a presenter.
It should float for user to drag it anywhere in the screen, -

this is resolved now and rolling out to all tenants by end of this month

I hope popping out the contact list like you can in Skype is also being tested as part of this, it is making Teams unusable for me having it buried away whilst viewing other areas in Teams :-(

Any updates when this feature will be released?
