Split screen camera and desktop
Right now Teams only allows you to view 4 user's cameras full screen, or a screenshare full screen. One of the things my company is looking into accomplishing is being able to allow a meeting attendee to see both the screenshare AND a user camera feed in a split screen. Right now you get one or the other. The ability to minimize/maximize each presenter's window to the size the attendee would like.

Here is a workaround:
Join the meeting again from web. I'm pretty sure this might be possible. Today I use only the web version because I have been having resource issues with the desktop one. But I know you can keep both open at the same time. You may be able to attend to the same meeting on both and choose what to see on each one.
Of course, this shouldn't become the official solution. They definitely need to add this natively, but this could help people like the Anonymous user below who can't rely on audio to understand what people is saying in the meantime.

This worked even in Skype for Business. I cannot understand why this feature is not implemented in teams. In Sykpe you can easily get a separate window with the video feeds (and even tweak that from gallery view to speaker's view). This is really a step back compared to Skype. It must be possible to have different windows for speaker view and shared content view.
When a participant shared a presentation, I could always choose to still see participant's videos (and open the presentation in a separate app on my large monitor). That allowed me to focus on the presenter instead of the presentation. With the latest update I no longer have that choice, but the presentation remains large front and center, with small participant videos and no option to resize or focus them. I would appreciate something like what Zoom offers: a side by side of presentation and participant videos with control over the proportional sizes.
As a deaf / hard of hearing user, I rely on seeing people’s faces to read lips and facial expressions.
Currently this is impossible when a desktop is being shared, as there is no way to see face videos separately.
This is a huge disappointment and severely hampers my working performance.
My company has disabled subtitles for security reasons and therefor separate video screens is my last hope.
Please make this happen!
Definitely a massive value. I often share comments about the Video / participants split screen option being a real benefit if Microsoft can enable that. often in meetings someone would share the screen and the participants videos are moved to tiny video screens.
The chat Pop-out feature was a massive bonus, and i hope the split screen video would be the next!

We're big Teams users but will unfortunately be switching to Zoom for our training classes (where you want to see screen share and presenter) until this and other related features implemented.
Zoom has a very good function for this where the user can decide size of camera-views vs. size of shared content.
Really poor that this is not yet a function in Teams.
Please upvote and implement!
Really needed feature, especially now when we are so often on videoconference from home !
This is a must-have feature, for sure!
Really needed to have an ASL interpreter on screen at the same time as the presentation

Well, not having this means that we use other tools whenever possible...

this is really long time ago, or else no point to use Camera
I am amazed Microsoft does not anticipate on this very important treat (this is already there since March 19th 2019 !!). If you look to similar programs or webtools this should be possible.
Because of their working environment a lot of people are forced to work with teams and it seems MS is counting on this and stays arrogant by not lissening to their users.
Sooner or later this will turn back as a boomerang when the premacy of MS will fall....

This feature is a must have because it will improve user interactivity during Teams meetings. In a physical environment, you always see the presentation and who's presenting.

Any hope of getting this on the backlog?
The functionality should be similar to Zoom!
1) I have to do presentations where I show a video feed of me interacting with a device AND a shared screen of the server interaction on the back end. This feature would make that MUCH easier.
2) My team all use multiple monitors. It would be nice if we could show the shared screen on one of monitor and the video feed on a different monitor. Many times a shared screen needs to be shown as large as possible, so I don't want to shrink it down to show the video feed on the same monitor.

This would be very useful to my Kindergarteners because I reference things on my screen and in my hand on camera all the time! I always have to switch from sharing my screen to not sharing just to show them something on video. Takes up a lot of memory and makes it go slow. Would be great if they can see both.
eagerly waiting for it

Is there any update. When can we see split screen feature for attendees as well.
