Driving Audio Mode
The Teams mobile client needs a Driving Audio Mode. In this mode, the screen sharing and video goes off. The audio controls stay on screen and the mute button is nice and large and easy to hit. With it currently, when I'm driving, I often have to go on and off mute and so I'm having to tap the screen to get the controls to show up, then tap in a very small spot quickly before the controls disappear. This makes me take my concentration off the road too much.
It would be great having this option!. Zoom has it and it is very useful both while driving or at any time in a call.
Include Teams the list of meetings with an easy-dailin to mirrow link for android;)
Currently I need to take view away from the road to join a Telefon conference.
Bring back Driving mode!
Please bring back the driving mode feature ! It makes driving more secure, don´t get it why this feature was removed :(

Drive Mode was fantastic, but the option no longer appears for me - not sure what's happened?
The new Drive Mode is a great feature but I think a lot more could be done here.
First, users still need to navigate through a "non-driving" UI pattern to actually activate the drive mode. Would be great if it would activate automatically when e.g. connected to vehicle bluetooth. This would be a nice trigger to expose via a Siri Shortcut on iOS.
Moreover, when I am driving, controlling functions during a call is usually not an issue as most cars have hardware controls for mute, hang-up, etc. The difficult (and dangerous) part is actually finding and joining (or re-joining) meetings. Would be great to see some effort in this direction.
Hi there! I have a similar idea posted for CarPlay and Android Auto under the following URL:
It currently has 156 votes and is already under review, so if you'd like, please add your votes :-) Thank you!
I would like integration to Android Auto for other calling and chat.
I would rather see support for Apple and Google's auto technology
