Integrate with MacOS notifications
Notifications built into the OS (which all apps I've seen use other than Outlook and now Teams) are more functional and allow for more user control. Most importantly, they honor Do Not Disturb settings, which is critical.
We are continuing to work on this feature. As with Windows notifications, we are also doing work to give users the choice between Teams notifications & Mac notifications.
We will update you as work progresses.

Happy 2 year cake day since being "under review". Next anniversary is the 2 year "Working on it" on April 24th.
I think we have to wait until this gets the most upvoted user request to get this implemented... Microsoft does really care about their customers
Does the dev team "eat their dog food"? Don't they have those awkward moments when you turn-on DnD on Mac, start presenting... and then those purple windows start popping up one-by-one?
3 years since it was initially reported, almost 2 years in "Working on it" state -- that's ridiculous!
any news here?
it takes forever
I think many might agree that not having this common functionality is a bit frustrating, but what's even worse is the lack of communication/updates on the request. Nine months without a word?

Teams was down all morning yesterday due to an expired cert. It took a while to notice because I'm used to not seeing messages on Teams anyway...
How do you guys at Microsoft expect us to work with your products in an Enterprise setting when you are unable to bring really basic requirements to your applications?
It's really frustrating.
shame to microsoft
We're over one month in 2020 now, and Microsoft still does not seem to be able to implement such basic functionality, let alone communicate their progress (if at all...) with their loyal customers. Apparently Microsoft wants all their users to switch over to Slack, which I'm really considering at the moment. It really is a big shame!!

Any Updates, Mac OS notification center is still not rolled!

I was really hoping the new 1.3 version that was released this week was going to have this fix, but alas totally disappointed..... This "working on it" BS is really old. I can't believe it is still being worked on just short of two years later....

We also switched to Slack due to this specific problem, a chat client that doesn't notify you is useless
When this finally will be released?
This really needs to be addressed! My main issue is when other apps are fullscreen, the notifications are completely missed. Full screen mode is SUPER common in the workflow of using a mac. Notifications are basically useless.
Do Microsoft receive notifications to this forum via Teams on a Mac by any chance?! Please give us an update at the very least.
This fix is needed very much! Teams is the ONLY app I'm using that has this issue. Its notifications overlap with native macOS notifications, and it is impossible to swipe right to dismiss (as with native ones), this is extremely annoying and is a very bad UX. Please, at least give us an update (nothing since 08 April 2019).

I just switched my company to Microsoft Teams from Slack. I really like the Teams interface on my Mac, but it is useless to me without Alerts/Notifications. What is status Microsoft???
When we start a meeting or a screen share on TEAMs, we should NOT see those pesky pop-ups on the screen from incoming notifications. Please take them away. Thanks.
As a workaround, you can use an application called Rambox and set up Teams inside of it. Notifications that fire through Teams inside of Rambox display natively through Mac OS Notifications. It's not ideal but it works for now.
