Integrate with MacOS notifications
Notifications built into the OS (which all apps I've seen use other than Outlook and now Teams) are more functional and allow for more user control. Most importantly, they honor Do Not Disturb settings, which is critical.
We are continuing to work on this feature. As with Windows notifications, we are also doing work to give users the choice between Teams notifications & Mac notifications.
We will update you as work progresses.

Any ETA? In these non-stop video chatting days having teams notifications pop up while screen sharing is definitely problematic.

Waiting since February 13 :)
This would be nice.

This has to be one of the most infuriating features. Especially if you have a large company and get a lot of notifications. I've been actively promoting my company to switch to slack because of this.

Thank you for working on this. Hope it comes soon!

With an increased number of video conferences during Covid-19 shutdowns, it is really annoying to have Teams pop up notifications, especially when screen sharing to present. Being able to get all notifications muted with Do Not Disturb is now more important than ever.

Simply support 'Push Notification' and integration will be done by macOS.
This feature is requested at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16941685-integrate-with-macos-notifications
Just a Join, Leave and Mute button would be enough...
This morning an important demo with screen sharing had embarassing/annoying moments because of Teams not honoring the "Do Not Disturb" system setting. I had to quit Teams to silence it. Really an incredible flaw in a corporate level application (and more than 3yrs after it first emerged).

On April 08, 2019, you said:
"We are getting closer… the team is almost ready to rollout MacOS notification support internally for testing – we hope to have it to the public by the end of this quarter."
That was a year ago. What happened?
This feature is a MUST HAVE. When I'm not on the PC for whatever reason I always check the notifications center to see what I missed. It would help A LOT if Teams was there alongside my other apps. As a software developer myself I know you have priorities, but I think you should consider putting this at top priority because it's really a pain to use the app as it is right now. It is better to use the web app just to use the web browser's native notifications.
When are you going to release native macOS notifications for Teams?

One of the main reasons why my team is considering using Slack when compared to Microsoft Teams. Imagine this:
We integrate monitoring alerts with Microsoft Teams using web hooks and people are not being notified properly. 4 yrs and still working on it. Please let us know in case this feature is never coming out
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you KINDLY release this feature. It's been far too long now!

Must include the emoji button

I see that you've been working on this for two years now, and appreciate this. The Teams notifications appear *under* any existing macOS notifications and are therefore unreadable. They also don't always handle full screen apps well, appearing on a different desktop instead of the one in focus.
Dear Teams team, can you please prioritize this request with 3300 votes this is really important now when a lot of work moved to teams and notifications doubled. Can you please give update on this request?

I'm using Flotato to recive native notification
With the work on the windows side of notifications, will this start to respect the OS autofocus priorities and alarm only modes?
