  1. Fulltextsearch for Wiki

It seems like the wiki content is not searchable with the global search

A wiki you cannot search for entries is useless...

  2. Implement Search function in Wiki application for Teams

Implement Search function in Wiki application for Teams, since search is a basic and must have function in every wiki.

  3. Search function across multiple wiki TABs within a channel

Search function across multiple TABs within a channel

We have multiple wiki tabs, containing various product information, within a channel. Users would like to be able to search for words across all wikis to be able to find a product that could be in any of the wikis.

  4. Wiki Search in Teams

We store key information in Teams wiki pages, but cannot see them in search results.

This is a critical feature found in Confluence. Is there a plan to provide this feature?

  5. Wiki tab on mobile

When I'm in Teams on my mobiles, it only shows Conversation and Files and not the Wiki tab.

  6. Wiki Search is a Must Have

You have to allow users to search in a Wiki, otherwise, what's the point? Why would anyone try to reference or learn when they can't find relevant information?

  7. Easy search and link from the "Wiki"

One of the key functionalities of a Wiki is easy link and search for content within a relevant space or area. At the moment there is no easy e.g. press Ctrl+K open a search bar, find the content and have it become a link that is stable through content renames.

Essentially like to see an easy way to search and link to content anywhere the users has access to. If not then at least within the current wiki.

Yes its possible to link, but its inefficient e.g. search for content then manual place within a link

  8. Increase Quality of Images in Wiki, Allow Zoom and Allow Search in Wiki

Wiki Tab is supposed to be searchable and usable. But with the current implementation, it resizes the image to something very small and doesn't even allow zooming in. Also search is not allowed in it.

  9. Drop the "Wiki"

Multi-Wiki considered harmful. Our company already has "a wiki". Then Microsoft Sharepoint encourages a proliferation of "wiki" sites, and now we have another entirely separate place for more "wiki" pages.

The main advantages of a wiki are:
    1) everyone can participate -- any problem or oversight can be corrected by any user
    2) search -- finding things is easy

Having an endless supplies of wikis, where you can't search between them, and not everyone can even view them all, seems to defeat the main benefits of a wiki. Now every channel, in …

  10. Wiki: Aggregate View/Wiki of All Channel Wiki's into a Team Wiki

We may have a team dedicated to a system, and it would be great if all of the wiki's within channels could be aggregated into a main wiki for the team. This way, if we use the wiki as our documentation, we could more easily peruse information as a single wiki.

The channel wiki's could be seen as "chapters" which could have the functionality of letting you click on a button and then you pivot to that channel from the main wiki.

This is not a replacement of existing wikis, as it is great to…

  12. Show full page path when searching the wiki

When you do a full text search in the wiki, you only get the title, the project path and a short preview. It would be so much more useful to show the full page path in the search results, so that you know in which section the result is located.

  13. Multiple Wiki Pages Under Single Tab.

Change Wiki Tab so that it can support multiple individually titled wiki "pages", instead of the way it appears to work now where you have one page, or title, with multiple sections.
Also allow tags and search feature for wiki.

  14. wiki

Click on the Wiki page link provided in a conversation
You are navigated to the wiki page, but the page is empty

Navigate to the wiki page via the ribbon, content displays fine

Expected: wiki page content displays when clicking on link in conversation

  15. wiki

In general, it would be great to have a feature rich wiki--think Confluence. The current Teams wiki capability isn't even up to par with SharePoint's wiki. Thanks.

  17. search for a text in chat history or wiki tabs

As a user, If I want to search something in my chat history , I could not find a better way now. Pls provide search functionality inside chat.

    As a team, we are discussing and sharing some contents in wiki tab. There also it is hard to search a particular text. I need to scroll and find which is not an ideal one;

  18. Have a hierarchical Wiki with child wiki pages in channel wiki tab

Can you add a child wiki page in a tab so you can create a hierarchy of wiki pages so it is easily navigated and organised. i.e. more like a navigable website. At the moment you can only add a flat list of wiki pages in a channel Wiki tab. See Confluence by atlassian.

try this instead  ·  Mark responded

    Hey everyone,

Thank you for your feedback! We support adding multiple pages to a single Wiki tab by choosing the “Create a new page” button on the bottom of the Table of Contents pane. This pane can be opened by tapping the menu button on the top-left of the Wiki.

We’re working to make the Table of Contents easily accessible on larger displays so that this option will be just a single tap away!

    Thanks,
    Mark

  19. Drag/drop wiki pages from one wiki to another

Add the ability to drag/drop wiki pages from one wiki to another. When wiki's are shared between users in a channel, people can add things to a wiki by mistake and things get really cluttered. This would really help to keep things organized.

  20. Wiki: Ability to link directly to a Wiki

Currently, you can link to a Section of a Wiki, but you cannot share a link to the Wiki itself.

The change would be: Add a "Copy Link" function to the Wiki tab in a Channel.
