  1. Wiki : Feature to add image in personal wiki is not available

Inserting image is available on wiki shared with team.

But not available on personal wiki.

Fix that issue as it will be very helpful on maintaining personal wiki.

    **On working with desktop application.

  3. Support inline images for wiki

While you can currently insert an image into a wiki, there is no way to make it inline with text. The image is always on a line of its own. Need a way to set images to be inline with the text. It should really be the default setting.

We often use our Wikis as instructionals with screenshots of buttons or windows to illustrate.

  5. Wiki needs image embedding

I was working on a wiki article for a channel and wanted to embed a picture. The best I could do was paste a URL. I would like to embed an image in sharepoint or just a plain image from my pc so I can talk about it in the wiki section and aid the reader understand better.

    completed  ·  Suphatra responded

This is done! Users can now paste an image directly into Wiki to have it embed properly. We’re rolling out a feature in the next day or two to allow users to then resize that image. We’re completing work to allow users to insert an image natively without using copy / paste, that should be completed by end of year.

If you have any trouble with this feature, just tweet me at @skprufo.

    Sincerely,
    Suphatra

  6. Improve the image resizing or editing function in Wiki tab

We cannot resize or edit image inserted in wiki as it could not be shown somehow, when we copied and pasted it in Wiki. Also, an error message could be shown which resemble the following: an error occurs while uploading the images.

It would be great if we could resize and edit the image inserted by copy&paste in Wiki tab for Teams.

  7. Wiki "insert images" is broken

"Insert Images" function in the Wiki for the desktop web app is broken. It allows you to click on "Insert Images" and select an image from your computer, but then nothing happens after that - no image is attached, no error message, no indication that an image is loading. Glad that you added this feature, but it's pointless if it doesn't actually work. Please fix.

  10. Enable Wiki Image Right-click Saving

I need to be able to right-click a wiki image and save the file. Right now, I have to go to the SharePoint site to do this, which is a pain.

  11. Copy pasting images into wiki pages almost never works

I read here (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18636442-wiki-needs-image-embedding) that we should be able to add images to wiki pages.

It's not clear how to do this, and in our team it does not seem to work. We tried copy pasting images from the clipboard, using several different formats and to both the desktop and the web client.

Occasionally we see a small box with an icon showing a broken image, but even that we can't seem to produce consistently.

Are there limits to the image size, image type or resolution? Perhaps this feature could have an interface to link to …

  12. Images in Wiki not working on Teams App (Android)

Just tested the Teams App on Android. I recognized, that embedded Pictures in a Wiki Article are not visible in the App - a "broken Image" Icon appears on the top left corner of the Image.

  13. Enable click (or double click) to expand images in Wiki

Allow for users to click (or double click) an image in the Wiki to expand the image to full size. For example, I have several guides that explain how to do a step-by-step process with screenshots showing each action. Including them in the Wiki as-is, the images are too small to be useful, and expanding the table much larger (to make images larger) causes the text to cover too many lines to be readable.

As is, I find myself reaching for Powerpoint, which none of my users want to open unless necessary.

  14. Increase Quality of Images in Wiki, Allow Zoom and Allow Search in Wiki

Wiki Tab is supposed to be searchable and usable. But with the current implementation, it resizes the image to something very small and doesn't even allow zooming in. Also search is not allowed in it.

  15. Copy and paste Image from Wiki to Outlook crashes Outlook

Using our Wiki as a quick response tool for our team. Our clients email us the same questions over and over, so I have built some canned responses with step-by-step solutions. Often these include images/screenshots. Problem is that these images cannot be copied and pasted into Outlook - it always causes outlook to crash (Not Responding).

  16. iOS crashes on Wiki with image

Would like team pages to appear the same when using all versions of Team. Currently one simple wiki page with a screenshot crashes the iOS every time. Another wiki page with a table shows as different font type and sizes in iOS.

  17. Make it possible to drag images within a wiki page, or fix the copy paste, or...

...fix the dialogue when selecting and inserting an image.

One of the most useful things about the Wiki (potentially) is saving a load of images or screen shots to SharePoint and then inserting them in the Wiki with commentary for your team, but... You can only add an image at a time, there's no thumbnail when selecting, if you didn't give your files useful names as you saved them, then there's really no way of selecting individual files to make sure they're added in a useful order. That would be fine if the process of moving them around in the …

  18. Wiki: Aggregate View/Wiki of All Channel Wiki's into a Team Wiki

We may have a team dedicated to a system, and it would be great if all of the wiki's within channels could be aggregated into a main wiki for the team. This way, if we use the wiki as our documentation, we could more easily peruse information as a single wiki.

The channel wiki's could be seen as "chapters" which could have the functionality of letting you click on a button and then you pivot to that channel from the main wiki.

This is not a replacement of existing wikis, as it is great to…

  19. OneNote vs Wiki

The version of Teams that is used by our company no longer supports OneNote and only gives us Wiki.

Whilst Wiki is good, it definitly does not over the cut and paste of text and images of OneNote.

We would have lked to use Wiki / OneNote to create process, procedure and work instructions directly in teams and channels as opposed to having to store "documents:.

OneNote is available in the SharePoint site that is created by the Team

  20. Wiki Images Broken

When you paste an image from the clipboard it sometimes does not save correctly and instead shows a broken image link. Seems to happen when you click between sections rather than pressing the save tick.
