  1. Wiki: Aggregate View/Wiki of All Channel Wiki's into a Team Wiki

We may have a team dedicated to a system, and it would be great if all of the wiki's within channels could be aggregated into a main wiki for the team. This way, if we use the wiki as our documentation, we could more easily peruse information as a single wiki.

The channel wiki's could be seen as "chapters" which could have the functionality of letting you click on a button and then you pivot to that channel from the main wiki.

This is not a replacement of existing wikis, as it is great to…

  2. wiki

Click on the Wiki page link provided in a conversation
You are navigated to the wiki page, but the page is empty

Navigate to the wiki page via the ribbon, content displays fine

Expected: wiki page content displays when clicking on link in conversation

  3. wiki

In general, it would be great to have a feature rich wiki--think Confluence. The current Teams wiki capability isn't even up to par with SharePoint's wiki. Thanks.

  4. Have a hierarchical Wiki with child wiki pages in channel wiki tab

Can you add a child wiki page in a tab so you can create a hierarchy of wiki pages so it is easily navigated and organised. i.e. more like a navigable website. At the moment you can only add a flat list of wiki pages in a channel Wiki tab. See Confluence by atlassian.

    Hey everyone,

Thank you for your feedback! We support adding multiple pages to a single Wiki tab by choosing the “Create a new page” button on the bottom of the Table of Contents pane. This pane can be opened by tapping the menu button on the top-left of the Wiki.

We’re working to make the Table of Contents easily accessible on larger displays so that this option will be just a single tap away!

    Thanks,
    Mark

  5. Fulltextsearch for Wiki

It seems like the wiki content is not searchable with the global search

A wiki you cannot search for entries is useless...

  8. SharePoint Wiki Link

We have a Wiki in SharePoint. We don't need a separate wiki in Teams, just let us display our existing wiki pages, which have corresponding teams channels, in the channels themselves.

It is recommended that you try adding the other SP pages as tabs within Teams.

If you feel this doesn’t meet your needs, please leave comments summarizing your usage scenario and why it doesn’t work.

Up-votes and all feedback is shared with the feature team on an ongoing basis.

    Thank you!

  9. Drop the "Wiki"

Multi-Wiki considered harmful. Our company already has "a wiki". Then Microsoft Sharepoint encourages a proliferation of "wiki" sites, and now we have another entirely separate place for more "wiki" pages.

The main advantages of a wiki are:
    1) everyone can participate -- any problem or oversight can be corrected by any user
    2) search -- finding things is easy

Having an endless supplies of wikis, where you can't search between them, and not everyone can even view them all, seems to defeat the main benefits of a wiki. Now every channel, in …

  11. Wiki page crashed

Wiki page often crashes and doesn’t update because we have too much text data on wiki pages.

  12. Teams Wiki and SharePoint Wiki same format

Why is it that wiki's created in Teams are not created as a SharePoint wiki instead of the mht-format.

It would be very nice being able to edit from the SharePoint site.

  13. Wiki : Feature to add image in personal wiki is not available

Inserting image is available on wiki shared with team.

But not available on personal wiki.

Fix that issue as it will be very helpful on maintaining personal wiki.

    **On working with desktop application.

  14. Link to Wiki section should go there instead of to wiki page top

At least in the Windows app, a link to a wiki's section takes you to the top of the wiki page - instead of scrolling to the specific wiki section. The longer wikis get, the more irritating this bug becomes.

  15. Wiki tab can be removed

Why the Wiki tab cannot be removed?
    There's alway the error saying:
We weren't able to remove the Wiki
There was a problem removing your Wiki. Please check the Wiki and try again.

    Thanks!

We have made several fixes around Wiki tab removal, give it a try now!

  16. Wiki import & export

Please allow wikis to be exportable/importable. This would let us re-use content and backup/restore if a wiki gets messed up.

  17. Allow the Wiki link to point to external Wikis.

Allow the wiki link to be repointed to another source, like SharePoint, or VSTS.
Too many wiki sources and information becomes a pain to hunt down, resulting in lost information.

  18. Restore function for wiki pages in a Teams wiki tab

When accidentally deleting a page in a Teams Wiki tab it currently doesn't seem to be put in the underlying sharepoint recycle bin so there seems to be no way to restore the wiki page. Same holds for accidentally deleting a section inside a wiki page on a wiki tab in Teams.

It would be great to have restore functionality (e.g., via the recycle bin in sharepoint) to simply be able to recover.

  19. wikis templates

Templates - Usually Wikis goes by some set formula for a specific team, for example my tech support team should write wikis with the same headers, problem description, root cause, solution, version..
a set template could be very helpful

  20. Wiki Search

Absolutely need search capability for Wiki within Teams. A Wiki without search becomes somewhat useless as soon as you add a moderate amount of content and forces you to re-think where you want to store the information.
