  1. live events

Teams Live events has egregious gaps and is not ready to be taken out of preview. There is still no way that Teams manages registrations or even creates easy calendar invites for Live events. The analytics are all but useless to try to dissect and this makes reporting on live events almost impossible.

Please update live events with much-needed features to run the basics of ANY live event.

  2. recurring live events

Make it possible to setup recurring live events in Teams Meetings.

Unlike a new meeting in Teams which you can repeat the schedule of, a "New Live Event (Preview)" cannot. Whilst it is then possible to setup a reoccurrence via Outlook Calendar of an existing live event, the duplicate meeting presents with an error "Microsoft teams does not support recurring live events. Contact the meeting organiser for help."

Members of a team want to hold a regular live event update without the hassle of setting up a meeting for each occurrence.

  3. Live events regularly

The function should be implemented so that live events can be held regularly at the same time every day.
Teams meetings are possible, so I want you to add the same function to live events.

  4. Hide [edit] of live event

The finished live event cannot be edited from the calendar.
Do not view Edit for a finished live event.

  5. Facebook like Live event

Live events is a powerful feature. We'd like a more Facebook like user experience for creating a Live event in a team. The user would click a button in a Team channel to begin a live event that would show up in the channel for Team members to join - then comment and react during the live event. This would be different from a Team channel meeting in that: 1. No limit of 250 - only limit by Team membership; 2. No audio or video capability by those who join that would interrupt the user who is recording live.…

  6. remove all marketing from live events

Live events is great for events within the company. There is a feature to make a public live event. This feature prompts attendees to download teams on their desktop. When exiting, it tells attendees that teams has many additional features. This is a deal breaker when using live events for webinars. I understand that competing webinar software are paid products. I also understand that live events already comes at an extra cost over the normal O365 license. Hence, my expectation is that teams live events should work just like other competing webinar software. This is especially so because live events

  7. Teams Live Events PowerPoint Support

Please add the ability to share/display a PowerPoint slide deck. Currently, this is only possible via screen sharing with Live Events unlike with Skype Meeting Broadcast and Teams Meetings (non-Live Events). This means attendees can't browser slide decks during a Live Event which is a very useful feature. This is noted as a limitation of Live Events while in preview, so just hoping it gets added as a feature. Thanks.

  8. Custom Live Event waiting message

I want the ability to customize the standard Live Event waiting message to give more details specific to the event. For instance fill out the pre-conference survey here... The message I am referring to says “The event hasn’t started”... and is displayed to the end user before the event producer makes the event live.

  10. Enable Microsoft Pulse for use in Teams Live events

Hi guys! So awesome we have Live events so we can start migrating off of Skype Broadcast. Could you please enable Microsoft Pulse for Live events, so we can get people interactively engaged? It's a missing piece of the Live events puzzle: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-live-events/plan-for-teams-live-events

  11. Applause for Live Events

We need a button for attendees to be able to "Applause" during and after Live events. At the end of in-person presentations, we normally clap for the presenter to show our appreciation for their efforts. It felt wrong not being able to do so in the Live event

  12. Guest registration for live events

We have trouble introducing the live events feature if not every attendee is known. A solution would be, that additionally to the live event option "organization wide (registration required)" potential external viewer could register for the event, similar to the "Guest" registration for a team. So we can invite internal and external users and ensure that every viewer is known with name and email.

  14. Save a live event longer than 180 days

Current limitation to keep a live events available only for 180 days is not helping us to promote live events for our users. It is even more strange as when using standard live event service the meeting is saved only for 180 days. But if you are using external encoder the live event is saved directly to Stream and can be stored longer time.

Why standard users should be punished and forced to do manual work to keep meetings longer than 180 days?

  16. Enable Teams Live Events for across all 365 Licenses

Please allow all 365 Licenses to use Teams Live Events. I was shocked to find out that E1 Licenses can use Teams Live Events but not anything other that the E license range. If E1 Licenses can use Teams Live Events why can't other 356 Licenses? Small Businesses of less than 300 users can definitely make use of Teams Live Events, especially for their customers and product/service announcements.

  18. live event pin video

Now that we can pin a video source in regular Teams meetings, please extend that ability to Live Events as well.

We use Live Events for multi-site staff meetings, however as we start adding multiple locations and multimedia, we're stuck with a video grid or hacky solutions like using OBS to project a cropped version of the desktop to a TV. Being able to pin a video source would fix this.

  19. Make permissions for live events retroactive

If permission is granted to teams enabled Office 365 group to watch a live event and then a team member is added to the group after the live event has taken place they do not have permission to watch it and there is no way to grant permission because the event can not be edited after it has taken place. This should be changed.

  20. Broadcast meeting as live event

The UI for having a meeting is much more user-friendly than the one for live events, and since we do more meetings than live events, it would be nice to be able to use the meeting UI for webinars. As there is a 250 person limit on meeting participants, it would be nice to be able to broadcast the meeting to a wider audience with the 30-second buffer delay and Q&A feature that makes live meetings more scalable.

Alternately, since there are several features of live events that have been requested as features of meetings as well (e.g.…
