Importing from Slack, Hipchat, Flowdock, Basecamp, etc.
Hi,
We are using Slack for a long time and now we are thinking to transition to MS Teams. In Slack it is possible to export all channel content's in JSON with links to files uploaded to slack.
It could be very useful to have the ability to import the slack history into MS teams.1,717 votesThank you for your continued feedback. We are currently working on this, and recently announced this feature for developers in Beta. For more information, please visit https://developer.microsoft.com/microsoft-teams/blogs/importing-3rd-party-platform-messages-to-microsoft-teams-is-now-available-in-beta/.

Add the ability to " Quick Print " a file without having to download or open in sharepoint
I want to have the ability to print a file without having to download it or opening Sharepoint. A "Quick Print" option would be 100% great
1,712 votesIf you open any Office document to view it from within Microsoft Teams just go to the File menu and hit Print. No need to download, screenshot or open in the rich client app.

Webhook needs to support forced notification a la "@channel", "@team", "@person"
Webhooks should have a property to force notification a la "@channel", "@team", "@person". I have been using Slack webhooks for notifications out of our monitoring platform and can use "@" tags to make sure that the correct channels get the data and if the condition is severe, notify "@channel".

Possibility to pause a video recording
It would be great to have a possibility to pause and continue meeting recording.
1,685 votesThank you for your feedback. The team has this ask under review, and are considering options for implementing this feature. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Allow ANYBODY to share their screen
Currently we have to use other services such as Google Hangout/Meet or other video conferencing apps to meet with people outside of our company, because MS Teams does not allow screen sharing for anonymous guests. Its a real pain ********** that Teams doesn't have this ability and most other services do. We meet with people outside of our company a lot so we frequently need to abandon MS Teams for these meetings.
1,676 votesThank you for your continued feedback. Screen sharing on Chrome and Chromium-based Edge is fully supported. For more information, please visit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#browsers.
For Safari and Firefox, only incoming screen sharing is currently supported. Safari outgoing screen sharing is on the backlog, and Firefox outgoing screen sharing is under review.

Move a wiki page to a different channel
After writing an extensive wiki page in an existing channel, it became large enough to have it's own channel. Moving the page over to the new channel was very cumbersome because all the sections and formatting gets lost when copying over the text. I see that a page can be moved up or down within the wiki itself, but there is not option to move it to a different channel and believe this feature should be added.
Thanks,
Kevin1,673 votesThis feature request is still on the backlog. No new information to share at this time.

Add SMS capabilities
Add Texting Capabilities to Mobile numbers. Since Teams is becoming my phone and integrated with my Dynamics CRM ... it would be awesome to add SMS capabilities to mobile numbers in my contacts.
Not everyone wants to load the Teams client to their phone. This would be a huge customer support and sales feature.

Change the profile picture for guest users in Teams
I would like to display a picture for guest users in Microsoft Teams as well as general licensed users.
1,651 votesThank you for your feedback. The team is currently planning for a profile editing experience for Guests that will include changing profile images as well as updating display names. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Delete bot messages
With the Polly bot, sometimes a member of one of my Teams will make an error while writing out a poll. Currently it is not possible to remove this poll, or, as far as I can tell, any message that is created by a bot.
It would be great to be able to delete messages created by bots.
1,629 votesThe ability to delete Bot messages feature has been added to the backlog. Thank you for your feedback!

Voicemail on busy
When someone calls me, either internally or externally, and I'm on another call, the default behavior should send the call to voicemail after popping a notification and perhaps a subtle ring. This business of ringing more than once when I'm on a call is not helpful.
1,617 votesWe are still considering the Voicemail on Busy feature for future releases, and will continue to update the status when it changes.
Note: The Busy on Busy feature has been released. Please see the following documentation for admin details:

Camera Adjustments in Meetings
Please give us the ability to adjust camera, microphone and speaker settings for a video meeting. We need settings similar to Skype. My camera is very dark and there's no brightness setting.

Hide a user from Microsoft Teams
It would be very beneficial to be able to hide a user from showing as a Microsoft Teams user. Right now it is super confusing for users when old staff members whose mailboxes are still being used show in Microsoft Teams. There is currently no option to hide these users from showing as contacts in chats.

Show status duration
Skype showing the status duration in a chat was very useful ("away for X minutes").
this allows you to know if your colleague is off for a coffee or in a 4 days vacation.
This feature is very much missing when using teams.

remote control uac
We're using Teams for chat and video meetings, but would like to use the screen sharing and remote control for troubleshooting and suppport requests. However, Windows does not pass UAC prompts through the Teams screen sharing.
1,577 votesThank you for your feedback. We have worked planned to improve remote control for elevated applications. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Allow opening of PDF documents directly into Adobe Reader DC for Editing docuemnts stored in SharePoint
Adobe Reader DC can Check-Out and Edit documents directly from SharePoint, but there's no way to initiate this from Teams. Instead you need to go to SharePoint, copy the link, and then open Reader DC, File, Open, and paste the link. This is cumbersome and time consuming for users who frequently edit PDF documents which are stored in Teams (SharePoint).
We would like a one-click to open in Reader DC from within Teams and an option to make this the default single-click behaviour.
Hopefully Microsoft's recent partnership with Adobe will help this one along.

Joining a Team
CHANGE PROMPT:
Change "Add team" to "Add or join a team": I avoided this button because I thought it would always create a new team. It wasn’t evident to me that I could browse for existing teams there too.PREVIEW A TEAM:
Provide the ability to preview a Team without immediately joining, to see what the reason for the Team is and what Channels exist. It’s a little cumbersome to have to join, realize the Team isn’t what you thought it was, and leave.TEAMS DISCOVERABILITY
Presently you have to know the name of a team to be able to search for it, if I am new to the company and I want to have a look to see what teams there are within my organisation I can’t currently, as I don’t know the names of them in the first place, it would be better if all public teams were visible.CHANGE PROMPT:

Teams for Xbox (for office use)
We use Teams everywhere - PCs, mobile, Yealink phones, etc. We have an Xbox in our meeting room - since the Xbox is a powerhouse and can accomodate a big screen monitor, HD web cam, speakers, mics, etc., how about Teams on the Xbox? It would save us from spending another $5K on a Teams meeting room device... and how cool would it be?
