Please allow meeting organizer to temporarily disable chat during a meeting.
We often have people so focused on the chat, they don't pay any attention to the actual meeting.
We'd love to be able to turn off chat at the beginning of the meeting, and then turn it back on at an appropriate point.2,821 votes

When on the call the Teams will automatically adjust the mic sensitivity level. I want it to stay at the same level. It's really annoying as it picks up background sounds when not talking. Also, it doesn't readjust it after the call, so i.e. if I had set level 50% before the call the Teams will readjust it to 80% and it will stay at 80% after the call has ended. This forces me to keep manually adjusting the mic level. It's a minor thing, but really infuriating. Would be really great, to just have a checkbox to disable mic level adjusting.

Many people like to use English as their display language, but get confused with the US date format: 11/06 is October 6 in the US, but June 11 in many other countries. Why not display the date according to the setting in Windows?
Same goes for time, of course, where many use 24 hour format instead of am and pm.2,740 votes

Some users may need to be available for quick chat contact through Teams to other members of the team, but other users in the organization may take advantage of their online presence to bypass regular communication channels. Specifically, helpdesk support person needs a service ticket submitted before assisting someone, but must be available in Teams for consultation with other IT staff.2,667 votes
We have weekly bot reminders currently on Slack and that would be a big advantage to getting our whole team moved over.
- Tuesdays at noon: Reminder - team meeting in 30 minutes
- Last Friday of month: Finish submitting hours

Right now there is a unread message count badge on the Activity tab icon (I guess you only get that if you have followed any channels?). However I would much rather prefer if the badge was on the Chat and Teams tab icons so I can see where there is activity. Currently collapsed teams are also indicated having activity. Expanded teams should have the same indication.
Furthermore, the unread activity badge on both the Activity and the application icon count unread channels. I would prefer a message count.2,646 votes

I'm often on the road and my company relies heavily on online meetings :-) So, we are starting to leverage Teams meetings more and more, so when I'm in my car I need an easy way to join meetings and maybe also read messages. While this is way easier now, than it was in SfB Mobile (thanks!) it would be awesome to have an Android Auto / Apple CarPlay Extension to have a somewhat easier and "nearly hands-free" user experience. This would make me much more productive, even if I'm traveling :-)2,576 votes

TeamViewer screen sharing has a nice feature to share pointer. So when other meeting participants wants to show the presenter something on screen, the presenter can see where they pointing. It's really useful feature.2,546 votes

Planner and Teams just needs a notification - when a task has been created for an assigned user that user should receive a notification - currently we are doing a work around by starting a conversation with a mention of a member name
This is currently in internal testing rings at Microsoft, and the feature team is targeting a release to the public in early Q2.

Regardless of where a meeting is created, Outlook or Microsoft Teams, the 15 minute reminders and the like should generate a notification from Microsoft teams to the user, either a popup dialogue window or otherwise.2,379 votes
Work on meeting reminder for Teams meetings is in progress.
During meetings we need to be able to share an online video with team members. Videos could be in Stream or Youtube or Vimeo or others. And this includes sharing the video sound. Currently we use normal Teams screen sharing, but all team members on the call can either hear or see, the video/audio are always asynchronous.2,374 votes
Share video and audio during meetings is released on Windows. Mac support is currently being tested internally and is targeted to release soon. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Its good that Private channels are introduced in MS Teams. Can we have a option to convert a private channel to public channel.

ISSUE: Video feed is always mirrored during a Teams call, meaning that written text, such as on a whiteboard, is displayed incorrectly.
SOLUTION: Provide a toggle option to not mirror the camera when in a video call.2,295 votes
Thank you for your continued feedback. The team is reviewing how best to address this issue and make this more user-friendly. Note: Your meeting attendees receive a non-mirrored video including the image of you and any text, whiteboards, etc. The image and video in your Call Monitor screen is shown to you only, as if you were looking in a mirror.
In Skype for Business client I can add a Distribution List as a Contact Group.
