Please allow adding granular SharePoint document library subfolders to the Files tab. Currently, only the document library level can be added, not sub folders.
This allows adding content from related but separate SharePoint sites without having to provide the entire document library (which may contain irrelevant content to the Team)3,145 votes

Many people like to use English as their display language, but get confused with the US date format: 11/06 is October 6 in the US, but June 11 in many other countries. Why not display the date according to the setting in Windows?
Same goes for time, of course, where many use 24 hour format instead of am and pm.3,100 votes
The team is working on fixing date/time format to honor your computer settings. Please stay tuned for further updates.
The ability to annotate PDFs, or at least open in a PDF reader that will, without having to download the file, annotate, and upload.3,060 votes
The channel/team on which the notification has been made should stay more/better/longer visible so that you won't miss one.2,968 votes
Once support for Windows 10 native notifications is released, users who choose to use Windows notifications will be able to utilize Windows OS specific settings for the length of time to display notifications. Mac does not have an OS specific setting, so will not have the support.
Its good that Private channels are introduced in MS Teams. Can we have a option to convert a private channel to public channel.
Thanks & Regards,
Thank you for your feedback! The team has reviewed this request and has added it to our backlog for both Private to Standard (Public) and Standard (Public) to Private channel conversion. We will share an update as soon as it’s available.
We changed the mind about the way we used some channels. We decided that some of the channels need to be merged. It would be nice to be able to do this without using history. We want history to be merged.2,958 votes
This request is now being reviewed by the feature team! I’ll keep you posted as to the future decision.
Usual Microsoft lack of UI intuition.
Channels should be followed by default with the user unfollowing it if they wish.2,951 votes
Thank you for the feedback. Changing the default setting is under review by the feature team, and your feedback is very useful as they are evaluating.
Have an on screen timer for a meeting.
While the meeting is being held, the timer shows the time left during the meeting.
Time management tool integrated in the meetings on MS Teams.2,950 votes
Thank you for your feedback. The team is currently exploring options for this. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
The self view is always static in the bottom right-hand corner of a Teams meeting. This is often distracting and can also get in the way of the screenshare.
-Add option to toggle off/on self-view
-Add option to move self-view to other locations on the screen2,929 votes
Thank you for your feedback. This feature is on the teams backlog. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
During meetings we need to be able to share an online video with team members. Videos could be in Stream or Youtube or Vimeo or others. And this includes sharing the video sound. Currently we use normal Teams screen sharing, but all team members on the call can either hear or see, the video/audio are always asynchronous.2,901 votes
Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy to announce that Mac support for sharing system audio is now available to users who have opted into Public Preview.
You can learn more about the new Microsoft Teams Public Preview program here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreview, and Teams administrators can find documentation to manage which users will see the Public Preview option here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreviewAdmin
Provide the ability to print and/or export (Word, PDF, etc.) a wiki page(s) that is created under a Team's channel page.2,886 votes
This item is still on the backlog. I will continue to track this item and provide updates as soon as I get new updates.
We have weekly bot reminders currently on Slack and that would be a big advantage to getting our whole team moved over.
- Tuesdays at noon: Reminder - team meeting in 30 minutes
- Last Friday of month: Finish submitting hours

This feature is under review by the feature team. No new feedback at this time.
I'm often on the road and my company relies heavily on online meetings :-) So, we are starting to leverage Teams meetings more and more, so when I'm in my car I need an easy way to join meetings and maybe also read messages. While this is way easier now, than it was in SfB Mobile (thanks!) it would be awesome to have an Android Auto / Apple CarPlay Extension to have a somewhat easier and "nearly hands-free" user experience. This would make me much more productive, even if I'm traveling :-)2,830 votes
The feature team has this on their backlog officially now. We don’t have any timing to share at this point, but we will keep you posted.

Regardless of where a meeting is created, Outlook or Microsoft Teams, the 15 minute reminders and the like should generate a notification from Microsoft teams to the user, either a popup dialogue window or otherwise.3,111 votes
Work on meeting reminder for Teams meetings is in progress.
Right now there is a unread message count badge on the Activity tab icon (I guess you only get that if you have followed any channels?). However I would much rather prefer if the badge was on the Chat and Teams tab icons so I can see where there is activity. Currently collapsed teams are also indicated having activity. Expanded teams should have the same indication.
Furthermore, the unread activity badge on both the Activity and the application icon count unread channels. I would prefer a message count.2,792 votes
This item is still under review by the feature team. I have no details as to when a decision might happen.
I couldn't hear people talk nor could they hear me when I had my airpods connected to my device. Only happens with teams so I know the problem is not my airpods plus I have confirm with other coworkers who have the same thing happen.2,731 votes
Thank you for your feedback, the team is reviewing this ask. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
"All monitors" desktop sharing option missing from Teams
Desktop sharing in Teams includes sharing 1 monitor OR sharing 1 app... in Skype for business client there is also sharing "All Monitors". When used, a presenter with two monitors will present a view showing both monitors in one window. The viewer can see both of the presenters screens in the one window. They can view this on one monitor or stretch this window across two monitors to make it much bigger and easier to see.2,687 votes
Thanks for providing the feedback. This feature is in our backlog. We’ll update when we have more details to share.
In Skype for Business client I can add a Distribution List as a Contact Group.
Can we have this feature in Teams?2,589 votes
Planner and Teams just needs a notification - when a task has been created for an assigned user that user should receive a notification - currently we are doing a work around by starting a conversation with a mention of a member name
This is currently in internal testing rings at Microsoft, and the feature team is targeting a release to the public in early Q2.

There are times when people start a conversation as a chat with a few people, and the chat gathers momentum and eventually becomes a regular chat room. It would be great to be able to convert a private chat into a Team Channel. The way it could work is, if the members of the chat are all part of the same team, you have a function where you can select that team from a dropdown list, and "Convert to Team Channel". The private chat would become a permanent team, and all previous chat history would be retained in the newly created team.
