2 — SUBMIT new ideas (Please include only one suggestion per post. Duplicates are merged together.)
3 — RATE the product by clicking the little orange star on this page. This helps us understand our overall standing with users. It will collect your rating every six weeks.
4 — COMMENT in ideas’ threads, which we check regularly
For official product and feature updates we recommend three things:
Allow assignments to be posted to more than one channel for multiple classes. Right now, if you select an assignment to be provided to more than one class, it will not let you choose the appropriate channel. I want to create a channel for each of the units that I teach. That means I will have the same channel names for each of my class Teams, and it would be much easier to be able to select the same channel for each Team.
It would be nice if the meeting organizer could decide who shows up on screen for all attendees and how many people show up on screen. images and videos would still show at the bottom like they do today but the big screen would be customizable.
When we have MS Teams installed on our mobile device and computer/laptop and receive a call on MS Teams, we get the call on both devices, basically rings at both places, but we can only pick the MS Teams call on the mobile device. Can we have a setting put in place where the user can define where to receive the call and pick either on the mobile device or the computer/laptop.
on a 1080 display I don't need the dialog taking 50% of the screen. This interferes with multitasking. resizing is fine but is not functionable with chat. perhaps an ability to to pin the chat list so it will not go away, let resizable window go smaller, and accessibility to pop out the chat window from the chat embedded chat.
The Teams apps does NOT recognize real presence. It only recognizes mouse/touch pad movements which is ridiculous. Attending a Webex meeting is not real presence? Presenting a timed slide presentation is not real presence? Working on another application is not real presence? Watching a demo video is not real presence? Working on extended monitor is not real presence? Who designed and approved this **** Teams? In spite of thousands of complaints since 2018 what has been done to fix this issue? Maybe you need to contact the architects and designers of Skype and learn from them how to build an application.

I think Teams should have some way of customizing the audio tone you hear, depending on its purpose. I'd like to be able to have a particular tone for when I'm messaged directly, versus the tone I hear with a general message, like when someone says "break" or something
When a meeting is upcoming or started by someone else, having something in the overall UI to make joining easier would be helpful. Less clicks to trigger the joining of the meeting with the same UI options in the windows notification.
