  1. Easy search and link from the "Wiki"

One of the key functionalities of a Wiki is easy link and search for content within a relevant space or area. At the moment there is no easy e.g. press Ctrl+K open a search bar, find the content and have it become a link that is stable through content renames.

Essentially like to see an easy way to search and link to content anywhere the users has access to. If not then at least within the current wiki.

Yes its possible to link, but its inefficient e.g. search for content then manual place within a link

  2. Show full page path when searching the wiki

When you do a full text search in the wiki, you only get the title, the project path and a short preview. It would be so much more useful to show the full page path in the search results, so that you know in which section the result is located.

  3. Search should work for WIKI Entries

We use the Wiki to store technical information for general use and projects.
Tried to search for something Ii know is in the Wiki, zero results.

  4. When searching, also make the content of Wiki "searchable", at least create an option that makes it possible to include content like that

When searching in MS Teams, also make the content of Wiki "searchable", at least create an option that makes it possible to include content like that. At this moment a search seems to search conversation and that's it. What a pitty : https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18623599-fulltextsearch-for-wiki. Looks like other people would like that to. How about the planning? As a company we rely on availability of information. We started with Wiki and need such search features to keep our users happy.

  5. improved search functions.

searching channel specific wiki and file contents for key words does not appear to be implemented. An advanced search dialogue would be appreciated.

  6. Search button scoped to the current active screen

Everywhere you go in Teams, you should have a search button that automatically filters to the scope of the active screen. Then, whent he search is executed, an option to widen the search to beyond the initial scope.

    So in summary:
    1. Search command bar continues as it does today
    2. New Search button at the bottom of the conversation tab which pre-filters the search results to just that channel
    3. New Search button at the top of Files in the Files tab to search just that location
    4. New Search button at the bottom of the chat window to …

  12. Better search function

Search should find everything. I added a folder named Label printer. With a file with Label in it's name. And a note on the Wiki that we have a Label printer. I want that search for "Label" should find all of these three...

  13. Ctrl-F should allow search in the current wiki page or inthe whole wiki or in the whole Team

Searching is a basic feature people are used to and is missing in Teams... The only search I can find search the whole teams thus producing results irrelevant to what I am currently looking for. The search should be contextual: if I am editing a page, it should search that page... and it should alow selecting efficiently if we want case sensitive or whole word only or not... similar to what Mozilla Ctrl-f provides.

  14. search in the mobile app FTLOG

It seems fairly basic but just any kind of search. The ability to search through chat and conversations as well as the wiki. I mean honestly what good is the wiki if you can't search for keywords? It would be great if the search also would dig into index PDFs and Microsoft office documents to look for keywords within those documents. This feature exists in OneDrive. Having a bank of files here in teams is almost useless.

  15. Make to possible to link to a certain page number in a Word file

    Hello,
in Microsoft Teams Wiki a URL to a certain headline of a Wiki entry can be created. But because the Wiki is so basic, and doesn't offer e.g. these functionalities:
    - can't be ported to a different Teams team
    - can't be searched
    - no versioning
    - ...
, a Word file is used instead. But unfortunately a URL to a certain Word page number can't be generated. Please implement this feature. (see also https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ee9275c8-af82-4e81-8fad-d2bd7a98ac22/teams-wiki-create-link-to-certain-wiki-categories-but-because-wikis-cant-even-be-searched-how-to?forum=msteams)

  16. tag comment for inclusion in a wiki

Would be really cool to take a comment in a room or a chat and be able to click the ... and add that to a wiki page. Lots of information is shared in rooms. Versus searching in the room, would be great to reduce the friction necessary to put this information into a wiki. Even better would be the ability to multi-select multiple messages (within same channel or chat) and add to the wiki in bulkd.
