Hi there, you’ve reached the user feedback site for Microsoft Teams. It’s managed by our Customer Advocacy Team inside Microsoft Teams Engineering led by Karuana Gatimu. Our entire team believes in representing your needs inside our engineering group and we appreciate the time you take to share them with us. Rest assured that a large team of dedicated people read and discuss your feedback!
Here’s how to get your voice heard:
1 — VOTE for existing ideas (this will also subscribe you to the idea’s status updates)
2 — SUBMIT new ideas (Please include only one suggestion per post. Duplicates are merged together.)
3 — RATE the product by clicking the little orange star on this page. This helps us understand our overall standing with users. It will collect your rating every six weeks.
4 — COMMENT in ideas’ threads, which we check regularly
For official product and feature updates we recommend three things:
I have few suggestions to make,
1. You need to introduce delete private chat group.
2. Private chat group can be merged with a channel.
3. Activity has only Feed as fixed , that should be dynamic as per people choice as you are giving then options to see what there want.
4. People from outlook should be able to send Channel link
5. Join (meeting join) option should be there on Channels as channel does not have call feature.
We noticed when typing in a word that Teams doesn't recognize like an uncommon name Teams would automatically change the word after it's sent. This is a really bad experience as a word shouldn't change after it's sent. I use the desktop version of Teams and this doesn't happen but why is it happening in the IPad app version? Seems like a bug.
Even your category list doesnt have an item called "Audio Conferencing" - that tells you all you need to know. Why does ZOOM have an insane adoption rate? for the same reason no one cold ever figure out how to use Skype for Business - Microsoft to this day doesnt realize you need to make something really simple to use - and audioconferencing in teams is almost embassingly impossible to figure out - you should have one button for admins like "add calling" and then "add conference line" and boom - a phone number is provisioned for people in teams to use for meetings.

Currently when files are shared the only option is to download them and they will be all dumped into the "Downloads" folder. There is no option to specify another folder (which would be preferable).
If the destination folder cannot be specified at least enable files shared in bulk to be downloaded in one folder (or zip file), this would allow ease of finding the files and moving them to the desired location since we cannot choose our destination.
When joining a Teams meeting, if using Teams to call you, require user to enter "1" or another number before joining the audio call. Oftentimes, we are starting a call, and someone uses the "call me" feature, and it goes to their voicemail. Everyone on the call has to listen to the voicemail and the voicemail system repeating three times asking if you want to leave a message? Webex requires the user to hit 1 on the phone before joining, which prevents this issue and provides a more professional experience.
In a group chat it's easy to create a Teams meeting with a click in the bar, however that same option is not available in a Teams team. I can invite the channel, but they don't get included in the add attendees.

Microsoft: when you promise new features, deliver them at or before the date you promised. Teams users have been requesting a "Gallery View" (more than four visible participants - more like what Zoom offers) for well on two years, now. It was promised before the end of April, 2020, is PRESUMED TO BE in some sort of "gradual release," according to your 'impossible to navigate' web help pages, and we are now headed into the second week of May.
