Hi there, you’ve reached the user feedback site for Microsoft Teams. It’s managed by our Customer Advocacy Team inside Microsoft Teams Engineering led by Karuana Gatimu. Our entire team believes in representing your needs inside our engineering group and we appreciate the time you take to share them with us. Rest assured that a large team of dedicated people read and discuss your feedback!
Here’s how to get your voice heard:
1 — VOTE for existing ideas (this will also subscribe you to the idea’s status updates)
2 — SUBMIT new ideas (Please include only one suggestion per post. Duplicates are merged together.)
3 — RATE the product by clicking the little orange star on this page. This helps us understand our overall standing with users. It will collect your rating every six weeks.
4 — COMMENT in ideas’ threads, which we check regularly
For official product and feature updates we recommend three things:
For example, I have received an email with a pdf file on my iPhone. I would like to send it to a few Teams members. It won't allow me to do that, only one recipient can be chosen or existing group. In case I haven't got an existing group created with needed recipients I will need to send file separately to each one of them or go to Теамс first to create the group and then send the file. Teams should allow selecting multiple recipients or even groups maybe.
If a document is shared by someone in a conversation within a channel then the system does not automatically put it into a specific folder nor does it ask the user where he wants to place it within the SharePoiint document library. This means that the user needs to manually move it into a respective folder.
Is there a way users could be prompted to specify a target location of a document within Teams&SharePoint upon upload_
not entirely sure how, but I was able to create a message with Nested comments. (see attached file).
When this happens in a group chat, the android client not only won't display this message, it makes all prior messages inaccessible in that chat. Until new messages are posted, the chat will just sit there loading.
Better yet, if you post this in a channel..the android client will outright crash.
Confirmed on Android-P. Doesn't appear to affect iOS, Windows Client, or OWA.
I have created wiki pages for each channel but when i click into my wiki it opens in the middle of the page rather then defaulting to the top of the page. is there any way to default the wiki page to open showing the top of the page rather than opening mid way through and having to scroll back up to see the top of the page?
At the moment I use emoji to provide colour/visual cues to tabs, as text-only tabs are harder to identify and navigate.
I would love to have a better selection of icons, for example something like FontAwesome or the ability to upload .ico files, use favicons, or upload PNG files.
For example: embedding Trello or MindMeister applications is fantastic, but I generally resort to using a 'closely-related' emoji to visually identify the tabs rather than being able to use the app's specific icon.
