  1. Screen sharing on mac shares other screens without showing it

There is big issue with teams on MacOS, for example using MacBook:

    1. Schedule meeting

    2. Share "Screen 1"

    3. Desktop is shared as expected. Red border is shown to presenter to indicate that.

    4. Make some application "Full screen". Notice it has no red border indicating that it is being shared.

    5. Swipe between desktop and full screen applications

    6. Other users in meeting can see both desktop and full screen applications when swiped to them.

However, presenter MAY NOT BE AWARE that he/she shares full screen applications - they don't have red frame around, and it seems that other users would only be seeing…

  2. Main favorites/pin bar in one place

Currently, we can pin a favorite contact or group chat to the Chat section, and we can pin a favorite Team or Channel to the Team section. This makes it difficult when moving between the two, since you have to completely leave on section and go to the other. Would be better to have one main "favorites" where all items can be pinned together for easy access.

  3. Create a setting to always open Office files in app instead of Teams

There should be a user setting that enables users to chose to always edit Office files in their respective application instead of in Teams.

This will save a click for when staff need to collaborate on an advanced spreadsheet or they have a Word document that doesn't render quite right in the Teams app. Generally speaking, unless it is a really quick edit, I prefer to open the full O365 app to edit files and staff feedback echoes that sentiment. Saving extra clicks with that one setting would save some frustration and improve QOL.

It would be great if there is Screen clipping button rather than adding attachments to send snaps to chat box everytime

  11. Adding multiple attendees in one go by copying multiple Emails

After clicking on Calendar, selecting particular date, time zone and we click on new meeting, multiple Emails can't be added in "Add required attendees". Everytime manual Email IDs of each persons is required to be entered. It takes huge time for one by one adding of Email of meeting of 100 people.

Please provide feature in Calender, New Meeting to add multiple Emails in "add required attendees" with whom we want to arrange microsoft team meeting in one go.

Also make same features for optional attendees also.

You can contact me on my Mobile No. +91-9879072060 (India) for more clarity

  12. normtime countdown shifts

When planning a monthly shift there should be some kind of Normtime counter per member, so its possible to get an overview and helping you distribute open shifts equally.

  14. Disable ALL email notification for MS Teams messages

A simple option in Teams, which disables all email notifications, so that the only media where you see something about the messages is teams itself.

  15. BRB and other status commands optional clarification

Right now using buttons or commands like /brb, /away, /dnd, /busy allows team members to see what you're doing and your level of availability.

However it doesn't offer any fine-grained explanation that you would expect in person and is needed even more in faceless virtual office. If someone came up to my desk and I held up a hand to them and just said "busy!" and turned away that would be considered extremely rude and you would never do that. Yet that is what Teams offers.

Teams should follow the Skype status function where free-form optional text offers customisable detail…

  16. Help app in Microsoft Teams unusable in dark mode

If you set Microsoft Teams to dark mode, it makes code blocks and notes nearly unusable in the help app.

The in-app Help for Teams contains notes in numerous places. They are displayed in a white font on an almost-white background, making them unreadable.

For an example, click the three-dot item in Teams' sidebar menu ('More added apps'), click 'Help', click the 'Schedule a meeting' link and scroll down:

Can this be fixed up? It works fine in Normal mode, and in high-contrast mode.

  17. /UpdateTeams command please (checks for updates)

much like /whatsnew or /help I think it would be advantageous to /updateteams using the same command mechanism.

  19. 'Insert link' button available in the compressed view ribbon bar.

Our team post with links an awful lot. Would be so much quicker if the 'insert links' button appeared in the ribbon of the compressed view for posting.
