Give an option for Teams Live Events (and other O365 live events) that will play music before meeting starts
BlueJeans for broadcast events plays audio (like elevator music) so that the remote parties can test the audio devices before the critical events start. This prevents the need for outside companies and needing to start the even early to do audio tests.

Ability to schedule live events with password
Please have an option to schedule live events with password so that anyone (including internal users) who join the live event need to enter the specific password even the live event is scheduled as public.

Live Event - Producer voice isolation
We held our first teams Live Event yesterday, on the whole it was amazing. My only gripe is that as producer I would like the option to be able to speak to the presenters without the attendees being able to hear.
Thanks
Edd

Live Events Unmute Presenters
Currently the producer have the ability to mute a presenter but can't unmute him, it would be nice to have for a full control and fluid experience.

Several presenter videos at the same time in Live Events
Currently, it is only possible to share one presenter video at the time. If we want to run a Live event with several presenters having a conversation (ex: roundtable) it is impossible, the producer needs to switch the videos manually. My suggestion is to implement a video galley, like in Teams meetings, to broadcast into the Live Event.

Third-party Captions
We need the ability to have third-party captions for our meetings - particularly live events. Live captions are not sufficient for large events and require professional captions.
Support for services like Streamtext would be ideal.

Increase Presenter Limit in Teams Live Event from 9
Increase the Presenter/Producer limit from 9 to 50. Some enterprises may have about 4 presenters per geography. If you have 8 locations with 4 presenters each then Live Events isn't an application that can be leveraged. Conversely, Skype Broadcast can accommodate a high number of presenters.
Thank you for your share and vote :)

Teams Live events monitoring tool
Ability to track and monitor scheduled Teams Live events. Due to the increased interest and usage of Teams Live events, we need to ensure that scheduled Teams Live events are monitored to prevent any network degradation and no more than 15 events are scheduled concurrently due to the limitation.

Live event - Mutiple presenters need to be seen at one time!
As the producer of the live event at Teams, we have no option to include more than one presenter on the screen at the same time for the audience.
Provide the "internal screen of the presenters" as an option for the producer, since it is the same screen of the normal meetings and "behind the scenes" of the live event for the presenters.

Calendar invites for attendees for Live Events
We would like there to be a way for attendees to sign up for live events using teams so that they can automatically get a calendar invite with the event link included. At the moment we have to use a separate form and then send out the link in an email manually before the event. This means that we have to send out multiple invites and there can be a delay between signing up and attendees receiving the link.

Save live event recording in Teams channel and Stream automatically
We love the new "live event" feature, but we're not able to roll this our yet as we're missing the auto upload to Microsoft Stream.
Our current setup is an internal product demo every 2 weeks, where we record the demo. This demo is saved in Stream and a thumbnail of the recording is automatically showing in the demo channel in Teams.
This is the note which I found in the Help Center:
Note: "Quick start" live event recordings are currently not saved in Microsoft Stream. You can download the recording from the meeting details and upload it manually to…

Need accurate count of attendees of a Live Event
Currently, when in a Live Event the Producer window shows 0 attendees, even when there are attendees.
The attached file shows that it says 0 attendees when we do have some. Tested this on multiple events with multiple users.
We need this to be accurate.

launch live events in new window
Teams live window is either full screen or non-movable bottom right small window.
Make live events a new window so that it can be independent of teams window.

Increase the 4 hour limit on a live event
Some of the events run over the 4 hour limitation currently set. We want the 4 hour limit increased to cater for a full day event.
Creating 2 live events to make up 8 hours is also not a optimal solution for us
167 votesTo help customers meet rapidly changing communication needs, Microsoft Teams has temporarily raised default limits thru July 1, 2020 for Live Events hosted in Teams. Similar increases are coming for Yammer and Stream.
- Attendee limit: events can support up to 20,000 attendees
- Concurrent events: 50 events can be hosted simultaneously across a tenant
- Event duration has been increased to 16 hours per broadcastFor reference, see https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#teams-live-events

Ability to uploadload videos into Teams Live Events to queue up and play by the producer through their interface.
This would allow videos to be uploaded into the broadcast stream ahead of time with audio and the producer would just send the file to live to start the video/audio. This is a future in some of the competitive products like BlueJeans.

Use a external encoder in a public live event
I want to see that the function "use an external encoder" becomes active for a publict live events. Today, it is not possible to offer a larger "webinar" for external users, in my case customers.

Show multiple or all video feeds of Presenters in a Live Event
Currently only 1 Presenter's video feed can be sent to live. This means the Producer has to keep switching cameras when a multi-way conversation is happening between different Presenters, and as an Attendee the constant switching of video feeds can be very distracting.

Applause for Live Events
We need a button for attendees to be able to "Applause" during and after Live events. At the end of in-person presentations, we normally clap for the presenter to show our appreciation for their efforts. It felt wrong not being able to do so in the Live event

Live Events - Every Presenter shoud be capable to share Content
At the moment there can only be one content shared by one presenter. As soon as a second presenter shares his presentation the active presentation will bei automaticly closed and the new one will be send live immediatly. As a producer i would like to avoid this. I would love to have one Screensharing per presenter availlable so that i as a producer can send them into the cue and send them live without fearing that a presenter hits the share button by accident and kicks the other one out of his presentation. This would be a very worthfull feature…

Allow producer to enable Q&A to a Live Event once it has begun
Allow producer to enable Q&A to a Live Event once it has begun.
as a Producer or Presenter, maybe the Q&A panel was not elected during creation of the event. Once the live has begun, it would be ideal o be able to turn on Q&A panel for users.
