  1. Adding Room devices to a Teams Live Event.

During a Teams Live Event we can either take the TeamClients or a RTMP encoder as streaming source. It would be great to gain the ability to add SIP-endpoints or Skype Room system too.
Being able to stream from any SIP device is the missing puzzle piece in an already great interrop solution.
Imaging being able to use any video conferences room as Broadcast studio?

I`m sure this would empower the Interrop soloution offer by Polycom, Pexip and BlueJeans a lot.

Currently the only workaround is to use RTMP, but the workflow is to bad for the enduser.

  2. Guest Presenter in Team Live Event Meeting

It does not appear that Guest users can be a presenter in a Live Event meeting. This is a key functionality as not all presenters will be employees.

  3. Guest registration for live events

We have trouble introducing the live events feature if not every attendee is known. A solution would be, that additionally to the live event option "organization wide (registration required)" potential external viewer could register for the event, similar to the "Guest" registration for a team. So we can invite internal and external users and ensure that every viewer is known with name and email.

  4. Live Events Mute/Unmute Participants for Q&A

Allow the producer to unmute/mute participants if they ask a question. So the experience could be, a person asks a question in Live Events, the Producer selects them and announces "We have a question from Bob" and then unmutes Bob and allows Bob to verbally ask his question.

  5. Teams Live Events - download file feature

want to have a feature that allows attendees to download a file that a producer uploaded.

When we deliver a presentation, we want to share the PDF/PPT with the audience. Currently, Live Events (or formerly Skype Broadcast) doesn't have a "download file" feature, we need to setup a separate method

  6. Need accurate count of attendees of a Live Event

Currently, when in a Live Event the Producer window shows 0 attendees, even when there are attendees.

The attached file shows that it says 0 attendees when we do have some. Tested this on multiple events with multiple users.

We need this to be accurate.

  7. Teams Live Events PowerPoint Support

Please add the ability to share/display a PowerPoint slide deck. Currently, this is only possible via screen sharing with Live Events unlike with Skype Meeting Broadcast and Teams Meetings (non-Live Events). This means attendees can't browser slide decks during a Live Event which is a very useful feature. This is noted as a limitation of Live Events while in preview, so just hoping it gets added as a feature. Thanks.

  8. Save live event recording in Teams channel and Stream automatically

We love the new "live event" feature, but we're not able to roll this our yet as we're missing the auto upload to Microsoft Stream.

Our current setup is an internal product demo every 2 weeks, where we record the demo. This demo is saved in Stream and a thumbnail of the recording is automatically showing in the demo channel in Teams.

This is the note which I found in the Help Center:

Note: "Quick start" live event recordings are currently not saved in Microsoft Stream. You can download the recording from the meeting details and upload it manually to…
