  1. Add visual indicator for microphone input

    I'd like a visual indication of my microphone input so I can tell if it is working properly while in a call or in a metting

  2. Leave no proxy credentials behind.

    I have set up the registry above when I enter proxy server credentials when using Teams, but the credentials are left behind. it would be nice if there was a registry setting to prevent credentials from being left behind even for Teams.

  3. Standard SIP support for phones

    This made the new back in 2020, announcing support in the first half of 2021.

    I cannot find any information.

    This is a must and can definitely onboard all those companies that have invested in hardware and offset the cost.

  5. Merge Calls / Send invite from meeting to join a meeting.

    Can you make a simple function that allows you to merge phone calls in teams? Regularly I will be on call with a team mate & another one calls in. I have to hang up and call both back. Should be able to simply merge as many calls as needed. Should also be able to forward a "JOIN" invite while in a meeting.

  6. Teams IP Phones - Query, distinction and PowerShell Commands needed

    Teams IP Phones do not have distinct PowerShell commands to manage them. They have to be "cobbled together" through other means.

    The management in the Admin Center is present

    In Summary:

  7. Forward Teams phone to voicemail, but not Teams audio calls

    Currently, if you forward your Teams Phone (external VOIP calls) to voicemail, all of your internal Teams Audio calls (employee to employee with no telephone number) are also forwarded to voicemail. I would suggest handling them separately. Forward to voicemail for telephone VOIP calls, but use the presence / do not disturb to avoid internal audio calls. I get many cold calls from vendors each day and want to forward my telephone, but not my Teams audio from internal colleagues.

  9. Maximize dial pad size based on IP phone screen configuration

    My idea is based on my experience with the Poly CCX 600, but could apply to all IP phones without hard dialing buttons.

    It's a simple concept: have the Teams app maximize the size of the dial pad based on the screen real estate available on the IP phone. Right now, when you pick up the handset of the Poly CCX 600, the dial pad that appears is smaller than the dial pad on my iPhone X, and there's a ton of dead space around the dial pad. I've attached a pic showing this.

  13. Boss Admin Shared Line Appearance in Teams Only mode

    I would really like to see Boss / Admin and Shared Line Appearance workflows work well on Teams Devices. This is necessary in order to move our executive level team to Teams Only. Teams Only phones don't seem to work properly or at least comparatively to features that were in Skype for Business Server, the delegate can't answer calls for the boss.

  15. Add a speed dial to Teams Context Menu

    Calling people takes many steps/clicks at the moment. It would be very useful to have a pin-nable speed dial contact in the Context menu for Teams.

  17. Port Mapping Emergency Location for IP Phones

    dynamic emergency calling is not currently feasible in large scale enterprises without the ability to provide room level data through port mapping. It works for pc's but not IP phones. The phones are displaying their own port information rather than the switch its connected to.

  18. Allow reception staff / attendant to manually override auto attendant business hours

    On our old Meridian Norstar system our reception staff had the ability to manually override the business hours allowing them to "open the lines" / "close the lines" on demand when incidents such as snow days or other emergencies occur. Currently an admin would have to change the business hours of the auto attendant in Teams Admin Center but would be useful if they could do it from a teams handset or some sort of attendant control panel.

  19. Detachable Teams Dialpad

    I cannot see or use the Teams dialpad unless Teams is maximized. Therefore, I cannot reference secondary IVR digits to be dialed without writing them down because until I've minimized Teams, referenced the digits, and maximized it again, the call has timed out. The capability to detach the dialpad from Teams would correct this issue.

  20. Microsoft Phone Report for Basic Phone Usage Stats

    My company needs a simple report for the amount of calls made/received by users per day/week/month. It would also be great to see active calls. Also, who answered calls sent to Auto Attendants.

    I have tried using the report(s)from here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/cqd-teams-utilization-report however, the model is simply too much. It is amazing for something like a help desk or technical resource to trouble shoot issues with availability.

    What is needed is a far more simple view/report that would be useful for call center managers who care about who made the most calls and answered the phone the most in a day.
