  1. Polls and Forms in Meetings

There have been several members on the Tech Community who have asked to have forms and polls in meetings. Currently can have notes, whiteboard, files etc. Snap polls were a part of SfB but having Microsoft Forms and Polls (whether via Polly or a native app) would be an improvement and a much more interactive meeting! Best, Chris

  2. Allow us to mute individuals but just from our point of view

Please let us mute individuals during a call. This is not the same as muting that person for everyone in the meeting but just for the person doing the muting. This prevents two people who are next to each other in a meeting from hearing an echo of each other. There are many situations/occurrences where we use our personal computers to be in the same meeting instead of sharing a computer, and Teams doesn't let us mute the person that is sitting right next to us.

  3. Notifications for Meetings

It would be great to get meeting notifications. Like 5 mins before... 30 mins before etc based on configuration that user set.

  4. Add the ability to call the group within a meeting in the Meetings tab

We have the list of attendees listed under each meeting. Add the ability to start a call with this group. Seems odd that this is missing.

  5. Pausing screen sharing in Teams Meeting

Similar to Webex, GoToMeeting, Zoom, and JoinMe...It would be really helpful to be able to pause screensharing vs have to start and stop every time you might need to pause sharing. Hope this capability is coming. Thanks!

  6. Meeting timer

Have an on screen timer for a meeting.
While the meeting is being held, the timer shows the time left during the meeting.

Time management tool integrated in the meetings on MS Teams.

  7. Teams Meetings appear to take a lot of CPU (avg 32%)

When running a Teams Meeting on my Surface Pro i7 (2017), my screen-sharing, video meeting used about 30-32% of my CPU constantly. This seems different than Skype for Business. My battery life went from 100% to 35% over the 2 hour meeting.

  8. Allow uploading/linking Microsoft PowerPoint file to meeting

Skype for Business has the ability to 'upload' a Microsoft PowerPoint file which then pushes out to all the meeting attendees. This makes it possible for the presenter to quickly flip between slides without the lag caused by redrawing the screen over low-bandwidth connections.

This ability to flip slides on a shared file is essential for a smooth flowing meeting.

Listing to a multiple meeting attendees reading out what screen they're on, 'oh, it's coming... it's blurry now (redrawing)... etc.', every time the slide changes is so unproductive.

Teams needs an S4B equivalent feature where the entire slide deck and…

  10. Use Teams to replace Cisco Tele-Presence

We would like to use Teams and decommission our Cisco video conference room equipment. We need to lock video from site A to display to site B and in turn have site B lock on site A.

Today the current video options allow multiple screens at one time and the conference room get reduced to either 50% or 25% depending on the number of participants that join from home or phone. We have two large offices in the US and this request is mainly for our executive team, key influencers and budget approvers.

  11. Meeting Host to be able to configure mute and lobby settings as desired

I know that many people has requested that participants can mute all other participants or accept people from the lobby in MS Teams virtual meetings.
However this is not something that everyone would like to have.
The host should be able to decide how he want´s to setup and configure his call. If it is a small round of 2 up to 5 participants it might be fine to let everyone else to mute but on meetings with more than 5 participants it´s a problem.

ASK: create a "Meeting Settings" menu where the host can define if others can mute,…

  12. Mute

Ability to control who has access to muting all other meeting participants.

In other meeting platforms (Webex, GoTo Meeting), only the meeting host or delegates hosts have the ability to mute everyone else in the meeting. In Teams, everyone can mute all other participants and this is a concern for companies switching over from those platforms.

Can we create an option where only the meeting host has the ability to mute all other participants?

  13. Teams Meetings Analytics

Hello, currently we are hosting several meetings for big groups of people (1000+) and we want to be able to generate reports for attendance and time tracking. Some KPIs we are hoping Teams may launch are:
    - Who joined the meeting
    - Joining Time
    - Leaving Time
This will be useful to generate meeting reports, follow-ups, and general meeting services because currently the only option to track attendance is via snapshots of the attendee list or manually capturing all attendee data on the meeting notes section

    Thank you very much!

  14. Enable annotation of PowerPoint presentations within the meeting

Skype for Business enabled annotation of PowerPoint slides while sharing them in the meeting. We depend on this feature to facilitate interactive meetings, workshops and trainings. Please consider adding this feature to Teams as well.

  15. Improve reliability of meetings when sharing screens

Just make meetings with screen sharing more reliable for lower bandwidth or weak connections. Over the last week, I've had to switch to regular Skype with my team for meetings where I needed to share a screen with our remote team. Voice ended up dropping in an out and on the remote team's screen, the image lagged a lot. When we switched to Skype, everything worked great!

  16. setting to admit all waiting in lobby before meeting starts

For meetings with large groups, the presenter cannot monitor those waiting in the lobby to admit them. there should be a setting prior to the meeting to allow all, without needing to admit them.

  17. Make headset hangup button end meetings without clicking the red icon

When doing a meeting or voice chat in skype, the "answer/hangup" button on my Plantronics headset will end the call/meeting. This is not the case in Teams and I end up having to click the red end call icon. Its a small thing but it would be hugely helpful if teams had the same behavior of Skype and my desk phone.

  18. Admit anonymous users automatically when "Automatically admit users is set to Everyone"

When you join a meeting as an anonymous user, you will still have to wait to be admitted even if the policy is "Automatically admit users is set to Everyone". Please consider including the anonymous users in "Everyone"

  19. 'Add All Team Members' your meeting.

'Add All Team Members' your meeting button!
Rather than individually inviting people, or hoping that everyone 'Adds Meeting to Calendar' an option to 'Invite All' would be great.
