  1. Do Not Invite Entire Team on Channel Meeting

Right now, when you setup a meeting for a channel, it will end up inviting all users and guests of the team to the meeting.

If you have a large team, you usually don't want this.

The scenario around this is you have a team of 20 people. This team is then split out into physical 5-person teams. Each of those physical teams has their own channel where they can do a daily stand-up. These teams also want to have this daily stand-up in a channel meeting of only their team, not the entire 20-person team.

  2. Pause music/audio

Pause music/audio when a meeting or call starts. SfB does this. Teams doesn't.

  3. Ability to play music while waiting for a meeting to start

It would be very useful if Teams had a built in way for a meeting organizer and/or presenter to be able to play some music at the very beginning of a meeting while waiting for everyone to join in. This would let everyone who is already in know that their audio is working, and would help cut down on potential chatter at the beginning that can sometimes derail the start of a meeting.

We've all heard people join in and start asking if things are working when all they hear is silence, or had to tell everyone repeatedly that the…

  4. Migrate Skype for Business Meetings to Teams

When we migrated from Lync to Skype for Business there was an easy to use tool to convert your Lync meetings to Skype for Business meetings.

When moving to Teams it would be extremely useful to have a tool to do the same thing for Skype for Business meetings.

  6. Pop Out/Dedicated conference & meeting window for Teams Meeting

If would be good to have a pop out dedicated window during conference call, meetings and screen sharing session like Skype for business.
Currently it is very inconvenient to continue work on TEAMS without getting calls window minimized.

  7. More than 4 video streams in a meeting

    Hello,

Currently in a meeting, one can only see 4 video stream from the 4 users who last spoke.
It would be more convenient to be able to see the video streams from all the participants, and also have some the possibility to click on one of the participants name to have their video stream look bigger.

Actually any other idea that would allow the possibility to see all the participants will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

  8. Meeting timer

Have an on screen timer for a meeting.
While the meeting is being held, the timer shows the time left during the meeting.

Time management tool integrated in the meetings on MS Teams.

  9. Extend number of participants in a Teams Meeting

We are using MS Teams as a network tool for our various super user communities. When trying to invite all for a meeting via Teams - we encounter a limitation of 80 participants - our super user communities have between 10 and 400 members.
Would it be possible to set up a selection feature when inviting participants:
    - all team members (extend number to unlimited instead of 80)
    - by name (already possible)
    - by groups (that Teams divide the members into pre-selected groups with eg. 50 participants so you can add more meetings but select to add group 1…

  11. Teams Meetings Analytics

Hello, currently we are hosting several meetings for big groups of people (1000+) and we want to be able to generate reports for attendance and time tracking. Some KPIs we are hoping Teams may launch are:
    - Who joined the meeting
    - Joining Time
    - Leaving Time
This will be useful to generate meeting reports, follow-ups, and general meeting services because currently the only option to track attendance is via snapshots of the attendee list or manually capturing all attendee data on the meeting notes section

    Thank you very much!

  12. Teams meeting chats

When I have declined or been removed from a Teams meeting, I should no longer view and receive alerts on chats in that meeting.

  13. make "call me back" a default option for all meetings

Like SfB: provide an option to default to "call me back" when joining a meeting. In its current state, if Teams can't connect to a meeting for any reason, the user never gets the option to "call me back"

  14. When joining a Teams meeting, allow Teams to call you on an external line.

When joining Skype meetings, I am always prompted to either join the meeting audio via the computer (my headset plugged into my laptop) or to have Skype call me at another number. This feature is critical to me working efficiently as I prefer to use my wireless headset on my office line, or my mobile phone if i know if need to step awy from my caomputer during a call/meeting.

  15. Allow us to mute individuals but just from our point of view

Please let us mute individuals during a call. This is not the same as muting that person for everyone in the meeting but just for the person doing the muting. This prevents two people who are next to each other in a meeting from hearing an echo of each other. There are many situations/occurrences where we use our personal computers to be in the same meeting instead of sharing a computer, and Teams doesn't let us mute the person that is sitting right next to us.

  16. setting to admit all waiting in lobby before meeting starts

For meetings with large groups, the presenter cannot monitor those waiting in the lobby to admit them. there should be a setting prior to the meeting to allow all, without needing to admit them.

  17. change "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" to "CLICK HERE to join meeting"

"Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" doesn't look like you can click to to most of our users.

  18. Add PSTN conferencing details to instant "meet now" meetings

We love that PSTN dial-in has been added to scheduled meetings. Sometime we also want to allow people to dial in to an instant meeting that was started with a "meet now" from within a team or chat - can you make the dial-in PSTN option accessible in those meetings too?

  19. Notifications for Meetings

It would be great to get meeting notifications. Like 5 mins before... 30 mins before etc based on configuration that user set.

  20. Teams Meetings appear to take a lot of CPU (avg 32%)

When running a Teams Meeting on my Surface Pro i7 (2017), my screen-sharing, video meeting used about 30-32% of my CPU constantly. This seems different than Skype for Business. My battery life went from 100% to 35% over the 2 hour meeting.
