  1. Want to add an email address which has the same domain as the external O365 verified domain to required attendees for the Teams meeting

    I would like you to add a feature for us to add an email address which has the same domain as the external O365 verified domain to required attendees for the Teams meeting, because we can’t add this kind of email address due to an error. It seems that Teams tries to find users in the internal organization because the email address has the same verified O365 domain.
    We have some organizations whose users are not migrated in O365, so it would be more convenient if we could invite those users by using Teams.

  2. Teams meeting recording to capture all participants who has their video turned on

    When simultaneous activities are happening within a Teams meeting such as presentation being shared, most participants had their videos turned on, and meeting is being recorded, the Teams meeting video recording are only displaying selected participants on video and the rest of the participants are displaying their profile icon at the bottom row instead of their actual video.

    We were told that this is a default behaviour in Teams to optimise bandwidth and video quality.

    Any future plans to uplift this behaviour and ensure that participants videos are displayed on the meeting recordings?

  3. Meeting chairperson's tools to better manage many participants


    1. use "raise hand" to create a list of participants asking for the floor in the order in which they have raised their hand.

    2. pin the meeting chairperson at the center upper row video stream throughout the meeting.

    3. allow the meeting chat to run in a pop-out window or allow the speaker list and chat to be visible simultaneously for the meeting chairperson.

    4. allow designated participants in ameeting to assist the chairperson in the assigned duties (such as control the "raised hand" status of participants).

    5. Raise hand could also be automatically lowered when a participant is in focus by Teams. Because…

  4. Simplify Keyboard shortcuts for Meetings

    Can you simplify Meeting shortcuts like Zoom & Googe Meet do.

    For example Toggle Mute uses Ctrl + Shift + M, when you're trying to respond to a conversation that definitely slows down the ability to do that.

    Zoom for example you can mute, and use the Spacebar when you want to talk similar to a walkie talkie

    Google Meet uses Ctrl+D, which doesn't sound like much but when you actually use it in a meeting it works way better than the 3 key option. I would do this for any in meeting shortcuts like Mute, & Video.

  7. Allow organizer to set someone as co-host

    We were enjoying this feature in Zoom. But we no longer enjoy since our organization moved to Teams. Once somebody creates a meeting link via Teams they can set another person as Co-host. If the meeting creator isn't available or running late, the Co-host can moderate the meeting. Builds trust.

  8. Meeting Recordings need options for what is recorded in the video

    Currently the meeting recordings that are sent to Stream always record both the shared screen and a row of participant cards at the bottom of the screen.

    Please give the ability to setup what gets recorded - the main screen only, or also participants cards (with or without their videos), and/or chat (not sure if chat currently records or not, if used).

    There should be options to change this mode, or turn different components on or off for recording - both real-time by a presenter, and as a default for all meetings I create.

  10. Have a maximum number of seats available in a meeting

    We run optional training webinars and we would like to keep attendance below 30. Currently, there is no way to limit the number of seats available.

  11. Multiple meeting windows for multiple screens

    As a meeting attendee, when another participant is sharing her screen, I want to be able to put her shared content on one screen, while seeing the live video of all the participants on another screen (likely the one closest to the camera to preserve the conversational dynamic) so that I can easily see the shared content and the participants' video at the same time. I expect to be able to do this with an easy control (e.g. popup menu activated by an obvious button on the shared content and/or right-click on the shared content) and an intuitive description (e.g.…

  13. Ability to share multiple screens

    It would be beneficial to have the functionality for the presenter to share multiple screens. This would be most helpful with conducting virtual training.

  14. Resizeable screen share

    Apart from sharing a window or a screen, you should be able to select a region on the screen to share.

    I am using a 5120x1440 monitor and I can only share windows when presenting (and changing between them is a pain). If I share the whole monitor then the attendees wouldn't be able to see anything.

  15. Simultanius group meetings like Zoom

    Simplify the group discussions using different rooms to work, making it automatic and easy, and setting a time, like Zoom has. When conducting a lesson, is nice to be able to define the number of groups, time limit and enter and exit easily. And the time limit makes everybody return to the main room all at the same time. If you add this feature, Teams will be much closer to perfect

  16. Press-to-Talk

    Press to Talk. By default everyone remains muted unless they specifically press a specific button like SPACEBAR. Keeping it pressed while they talk. The moment the button is released the speaker goes on mute. I think it would be really helpful to avoid unwanted background noises from people not speaking.

  17. Reflect a meeting schedule to the members‘ calendars when creating a Teams meeting with specifying a channel

    When you create a Teams meeting with specifying the members, it will link with the members’ calendars in Microsoft Teams/Outlook.
    However, if you create a Teams meeting with specifying the channel, it will not link with the members’ calendars.

    So, we would like it to link with members’ calendars when creating a Teams meeting with specifying the channel also.

  18. Reminder to start recording the meeting.

    Please add a feature that pops up once the meeting has started to remind the scheduler of the meeting to begin recording the same. It is mandatory for some organisations to record the meetings and sometime one forgets to do so.

  20. Meeting notes: add new section to top for recurring meetings

    Right now new Meeting Notes can only be added below the top existing meeting note. For recurring meetings, however, this is inconvenient -- usually we want the latest meeting notes to be at the top of the notes. Also, it's annoying in the UI to add a section below the top section and then move it to the top.
