  1. Integrate Microsoft FindTime

    Microsoft FindTime currently schedules Teams meetings and currently integrates with Outlook. However, it would be great to integrate FindTime directly into Teams so that team members could place a FindTime poll invite into the Conversation for a team, then use it to schedule the appropriate Teams meeting. Or, use FindTime instead of the Scheduling Assistant when creating a new meeting.

  2. Continue to work in another app while meeting video is moved to a corner compact window

    In skype we had this feature where meeting video could be make into a small compact window and user could continue to work on the computer.
    In teams we can't do this easily. Our doctors, during telemed session with patient like to continue to chart/document care notes while viewing the patient video session in a smaller corner window.
    We are having to do a workaround by sharing an empty notepad screen and minimizing it, then getting the actual window that we need to work on. This brings up a small compact window of patient's meeting video, however recently a toolbar…

  3. Annotate phone numbers on conference call

    When combined with Outlook, we get names of callers in meetings when Outlook knows the number. But when Outlook doesn't have the number -- like when the caller is calling from home or from her personal cell, or it's a customer not in Outlook -- all we get is the phone number. In some of our calls, you have 20 or some phone numbers in the attendees list, and you don't know who they all are.

  4. Assign action item to myself in Meeting Notes

    Allow the individual taking meeting minutes to assign themselves an action item using the @mentions feature.

  5. Guest attendees using a browser are limited in functions

    Guest attendee access is not fully functional in web browsers. Competing audio conferencing tools such as Zoom and GoToMeeting have fully functional solutions in browsers such as joining as a guest, screen sharing and remote control screens for both the host and attendee without the need of a desktop client. Having this would make Teams a complete web conference solution.

  6. Start a meeting with the mic and speaker muted - Less than 4 people.

    Before you join a Teams meeting, the microphone and speaker is NOT muted by default unless you already have four people in the meeting. This applies to desktop clients, as the mobile app mutes the microphone by default regardless.

    Microsoft Teams could be better by defaulting to Audio Off prior to joining a meeting. The current "Audio Off" button is not a clear indication of a Join function, and a lot of users will not even realize it.

    Echo still occurs for the initial start of the meeting when individuals do not realize these settings.

  7. Move Meeting Organizer and Active Speaker to the top of the participant list

    Move the meeting organizer and active speaker(s) for Teams meetings to the top of the attendees list. This will make it easier to identify these individuals.

  9. Audio Pin for Call-In user for Conferences/Meetings

    When users connect by phone, they are identified in the participant list as a phone number rather than a name. If the user is also joined to the meeting on the Teams app, they will have a presence for their phone number, and for their user account. Meetings, especially large meetings, could be managed better and provide more context for participants if the caller was identified by name.

    For users joined through Teams: Associate phone number to their user account.

    For users only calling in: Associate phone number, at organizers choice, associate to e-mail address, organizer-configurable name, or phone number.

  11. Transfer call to mobile during meeting join

    I would really like the ability to transfer the audio to my mobile phone during the joining of a Teams meeting rather than after I have already joined. This experience now is confusing as people like to start greeting and talking as soon as you are in the meeting, which leads to apologizes happening while transferring the audio. The screen that present now where you have the option to toggle video, seems like a prefect place to elect to forward the audio if desired. This would also put the join experience in line with Skype for Business.

  12. cancel meetings

    When cancelling meetings scheduled in teams it would nice to get an option to edit the response and type the reason for cancellation, just like we get in Outlook.

  13. Allow Time Zone selection when scheduling meetings

    You should be able to select a specific timezone (like in Outlook) when schedule meetings - some locations don't observe DST or change to/from DST on different dates which causes meetings to jump around.

  14. Option for meetings to close automatically at scheduled time

    With increased virtual meetings, sessions frequently overrun, causing impact to subsequent meetings and reduced respite for attendees. Partly driven by absence of pressure on attendees to vacate booked meeting rooms or physically relocate.

    Recommend : Option that provides a 5 minute / 1 minute visible & audible warning, and then AUTOMATICALLY closes the meeting for all at the scheduled end time (already hugely successful in pay per session VTC meetings)

    Creates focus, ensures meetings do not run late, drives efficiency. Critical in this increasingly remote and virtual world. Has to be optional on initiating meetings.

  15. Video location when sharing screen

    When in a video meeting with multiple attendees, once screen sharing is chosen the video images drop to the bottom of the screen/app view. The majority of users either have a camera atop the monitor or atop of the laptop screen - meaning when looking at attendee's video near the bottom of the screen, there is no eye-contact.
    If the line of videos were shown at the top of the screen, it would likely feel far more like people are talking to each other.

    Currently when recordings of Teams meetings are uploaded to Stream, they are uploaded in high quality only.
    There are situations where the machines or network lines in use cannot handle sound and video, so please allow us to select low quality etc. settings for uploading meeting recordings to Stream.

  17. Option to change location of video tiles when content is being presented

    Currently participate video tiles are shown at the bottom of the screen when content is being presented. Give the option to display participate video tiles on the top or side of the screen depending on the consumer's preference. In particular having the videos at the top of the screen allows for more natural eye contact when responding to a question posed by someone during a presentation.

  18. Allow sharing multiple files on meeting without sharing desktop

    Currently teams meeting allow either to share whole desktop and compromise privacy or share just 1 application. Webex allows multiple file sharing and is really helpful when doing trainings.

  20. Make it possible to use multiple screens during meetings:one screen for attendees on webcam and one screen for the presentation.

    Use multiple screens during Teams meetings. One screen for the attendees on webcamera and another screen for presentation, whiteboard etc.
