  1. Option to only allow meeting organizer to record video meeting

    Have an option (like BlueJeans) to only allow the meeting organizer or moderators to record the meeting, since right now anyone in the organization can record the meeting.

    The option to allow only the meeting organizer to record a meeting is enabled via presenter & attendee roles:

    Presenters can do just about anything that needs doing in a meeting. Attendees have limitations on the actions they can initiate within the meeting, including the following:
    - Present
    - Mute All
    - Remove/Add Users
    - Admit Users from Lobby
    - Start/Stop Recording

  2. Don't Close Call when Teams window Closed

    This happens to me about 5 times a day. Literally. I'm chatting to someone and they close the window to find another one and the call ends.

    In Skype, closing the Window doesn't end the call.

    On iOS, closing the Window doesn't end the call.

    Why does it end the call on Windows?

  3. Screen share toolbar obstructing browser tabs

    Issue:
    The MS Teams screen share toolbar obstructs browser tabs in Chrome and Edge. The toolbar does auto-collapse but takes too long (approx. 5 seconds). Skype for Business' toolbar collapses almost immediately. Also the MS Teams toolbar cannot be moved as the Skype for Business one can.

    Workaround:
    Clicking the pin icon on the toolbar twice collapses it immediately but it reappears when you move the cursor near the top of the screen again

    Preferred Solution:
    Make the toolbar collapse immediately when unpinned and make it possible to move it

  4. Allow the camera to be disabled by default

    In my environment, we don't do a whole lot of video conferencing. We do, however, do a whole lot of screen-sharing. Can you please add the ability to disable the camera by default? That way you don't have to scramble to disable it every time you share screens.

    Once you make a selection of whether or not to have your camera enabled or disabled the selection is stickied until you change it the next time around.

  5. Additional Together mode templates

    I'd love the ability to add further Together mode layout templates.

    Maybe you could add your own buildings auditorium.

    Muppet Mode would add some fun to Friday gatherings.

  6. Mute

    Ability to control who has access to muting all other meeting participants.

    In other meeting platforms (Webex, GoTo Meeting), only the meeting host or delegates hosts have the ability to mute everyone else in the meeting. In Teams, everyone can mute all other participants and this is a concern for companies switching over from those platforms.

    Can we create an option where only the meeting host has the ability to mute all other participants?

  7. Toggle for presenter view in presentation share during meetings

    The presenter view when sharing a PowerPoint presentation is a great feature addition, however some users are finding this a hindrance and would like to disable it for their meetings. I can't see any way of doing this at present. Could a toggle be added to enable/disable the presenter view so that organisers/presenters have the choice of whether they use it or not.

  10. Integrate Notes with Meetings

    When I have a meeting, I want the option of adding a note to it, that would then be added to collaboratively and saved in the appropriate channel

  12. identify active speaker

    In Skype you could identify the active speaker by air quotes " " around the Microphone next to the person's name. This was helpful for meeting organizers who needed to mute someone with a distracting background noise (like echos or barking dogs, loud traffic noises, etc). We would like to see this feature come to Teams.
