  1. "all monitors" desktop sharing option like Skype client

    "All monitors" desktop sharing option missing from Teams

    Desktop sharing in Teams includes sharing 1 monitor OR sharing 1 app... in Skype for business client there is also sharing "All Monitors". When used, a presenter with two monitors will present a view showing both monitors in one window. The viewer can see both of the presenters screens in the one window. They can view this on one monitor or stretch this window across two monitors to make it much bigger and easier to see.

  2. Add a "Raise Your Hand" feature in meetings

    When in a meeting with multiple people it would be nice to have a way to signal that you would like to speak so that you can be called upon by the meeting organizer.

    This would allow users to show they have something to say, but they do not want to interrupt

  3. Share pointer while screen sharing

    TeamViewer screen sharing has a nice feature to share pointer. So when other meeting participants wants to show the presenter something on screen, the presenter can see where they pointing. It's really useful feature.

    This request has been accepted by the feature team and is in the queue.

    It isn’t the neatest, but as a workaround you can request control in order to do this.

  4. Improve the customization of which video is displayed during a group video meeting.

    During video calls, allow us to click on a person to force their video to take up the whole window (Including one's own camera!). Especially since some people do not turn on their video, their icon should not take up a portion of the screen that could be used to enlarge an active video broadcast. Thank you!!

  6. Meeting Policy - presenter permissions

    In Skype, you were able to set your meeting options for any particular meeting. You don't have this option in Teams and everyone from your organization is made a presenter by default, so anyone can mute or remove anyone including the meeting organizer from the meeting. At the very least, we should be able to set an option in the Meeting Policies to not allow entire organization to be presenters, but it would be better if the meeting organizer could decide who if anyone, can have those permissions.

  7. Remove participants from chat or meeting

    I'd like to remove participants from a group chat or meeting. This is similar to what's available in Skype for Business.

  8. Meeting Call Me Back Number

    After entering a meeting, if you would like Teams to call you back you need to enter a phone number in the Call Me Back box. (See attached file.) It would be great if this box would remember the last number called and there was a user setting to save a default number. This would save you from having to enter in the number every single time.

  9. Break out rooms for teams calls.

    To be able to use teams to conduct training webinars, would want to be able to have delegates breakout of main video call into seprate channels to have smaller group chats and come back into main room. Without having to drop in and out of calls.

  11. Do not invite the whole team to a channel meeting

    I saw a "Completed" story for this but that is FALSE. I scheduled a new meeting, picked a channel to mention it in, and invited the select people i wanted in it. It then proceeded to magically without my knowledge invite EVERYONE on our team which is a huge amount of people. We should be able to pick a room for the meeting to take place but not invite the whole team! If i want the whole team there i'll add them as participants!!

  12. Notification when a team call starts

    When someone calls you from a chat it's very obvious, you get a little pop up window which notifies you.

    However when someone starts a meeting within a team it's far less obvious - could we have the same sort of banner/notification as a chat call?

  13. Introduce breakout room functionality

    We have a business requirement for breakout rooms with live events. The idea is pretty simple - we plan to use live events to host internal staff training webinars and as part of that, at times we will ask for small groups of people (typically 4-5) to go away into a breakout room and come back to the group with their answer/idea.

    We would like to see this functionality be introduced to Microsoft Teams for not only live events but also video calls. This would provide feature parity with pre-existing tools such as Zoom, WebEx and many more which would…

  14. Let me see clicks of callee when presenting via screen sharing

    The idea is taken from TeamViewer, where you are able to show to presenter where you clicked on the shared screen. This feature is really usefull, when someone tries to explain something to presenter (or to other people when the call is for more people) and the presenter cannot see/understand what he's really thinks.

    Usually, when we have our skype meetings, we use TeamViewer for screen sharing, because we can easily show what part of code is problematic by click on the shared screen. When we click on it then cursor with name of the person who clicked is shown.

  15. Meeting invitation customization

    I'd like to see an option to customize the teams meeting invitation sent from outlook add-in the same way it can be done in Skype for business.

  16. When recording a meeting, record the screen that is being shared.

    We just recorded a meeting for our team. No one used their cameras, but we were all watching someone's screen being shared to follow along with the code example. The recorded meeting only shows the icons of folks on the team, it does not show the screen we were all watching.

  17. unable to unmute dialed in users

    When muting all users during a meeting with "mute all" it also mutes the dialed in users. However they are unable to unmute themselves as they are dialed in. There is also no way for me to unmute those users requiring them to call back in

  18. Stop Recording on Exit

    We need an option/pop-up to stop recording on meeting exit. At the moment if someone who is recording a meeting exits the meeting, the recording continues forever. What's worse is that the person who started the recording is the only one who can stop it. I "get" that part of the reason why only one person owns the recording is because of the need to associate the recording with a particular Microsoft Steam account... so what I propose are two things:

    1. On exit, if you are recording, you are given a prompt to also end recording or leave it…

  19. OneNote Meeting Details (outlook) integration

    Currently there is a "Meeting Details" feature in OneNote or "Meeting Notes" feature in outlook. This feature allows you to link a OneNote page to a meeting, it pulls in the meeting details, and using skype it automatically tracks who is in attendance.

    Please expand this feature to Teams so that it automatically tracks who is in attendance. It would also be nice to expand upon this feature to have it automatically create pages when a meeting is scheduled for that team.

  20. Out of Office

    Show Out of Office or automatic reply in Teams Status like we used to have for Skype for Business.

    It should show in the status Out of Office and then the message 'I am out of the office between X date and X date
