  1. Allow Teams Meeting Host to Toggle Meeting Entry Exit Tones Conference Bridge Settings

As an O365 global admin there is no way to let my Teams users toggle these audio conferencing meeting preferences themselves.

There is only a global setting in the Teams/Skype admin portal that lets me turn on/off these audio conference bridge settings for the entire tenant. My users need to be able to modify these settings like they could in Skype for business.

If I was hosting a large Teams meeting and running a webinar you can see how disruptive entrance and exit tones would be as participants come and go. The problem is that I can't just disable them…

  2. Issue with guests reentering Teams meetings and bypassing the lobby

    • Navigate to the Teams admin center
    • Navigate to the tab “meetings” then “meeting policies”
    • In there they should have a “global policy” that we can edit (they would just have to click it)
    • From here Navigate to “participants & guest” and change “automatically admit people” from “everyone” to “everyone in the Organization”
    • Then also change “allow dial-in user to bypass the lobby” to “off”
If the Guest user be admitted at the first he joined the meeting, then he left the call and rejoin. The Guest will automatically bypass the lobby, this is concerning from…

Thank you for your feedback! We have released a feature that if an anonymous or federated user is admitted into the meeting via the lobby, that user will go through the lobby for each subsequent rejoin. It does not matter if the user left on their own, was removed, or dropped from the meeting.

  4. You need to be able to remove yourself from group chat.

Why is this not a thing. I have no control of the content I'm involuntarily added to. Please give me the power to remove myself from a 3 or more person group chat. Thank you.

  7. Ability to remove people from a chat stream

Having the ability to remove staff from a chat means that Teams could be used for discussing projects. Once someone leave a project they should no longer be able to see the chat from their previous one. This would help us to reduce confusion and notifications which are not needed.
