  1. Security controls on teams invitaion. From external domains

To day we can whitelist domains to send invitations to external parties to collaborate in teams . Where as when other external domain user ex :xyz .com sent a guest access to abc.com user there are no security controls at tenant level to prevent user to switch to external tenants in teams , since user collaboration is stored in other company tenants it’s a gap for legal to track the content in any case of legal holds .
It would be good if whitelisting capabilities for such scenarios or store a copy of abc.com user (only) conversations or files in…

  2. Mass Anonymous Guest Access

I wanted to suggest the addition of true guest access, that is to say unauthenticated access to Teams. I was thinking that a URL would allow access to an open Team that would allow users to use it as a "forum".

Our business need is using teams for our organization internally as a forum for users who've completed training.

  5. Please add the ability to invite external users and require approval from an administrator when adding

    *English follows Japanese

    ■Title(件名):
    組織外ユーザーを招待し、追加する際に管理者に承認を得る機能を追加してほしい。
Please add the ability to invite external users and require approval from an administrator when adding

    ■Description(内容):
    チームの所有者にて組織外ユーザーを招待し参加いただくと無尽蔵に参加できてしまい管理者で把握できないため、承認を得る機能を追加してほしい。
If the team owner invites external users to participate, they will be able to participate without limit, and this will make it difficult for the administrator to understand the situation. So, please add the ability to require the administrator’s approval.

  6. Allow "Dial Me" feature to show up for participants outside organization

Some clients notified me that the "Dial Me" feature does not show up for them to allow dialing audio out to themselves. This feature exists for participants within organization, or at least the host, to dial a different # for audio access when already viewing the presentation. WebEx has this available and makes it handy for anyone who wants to click the link to join, but then want to dial another line for audio (e.g. if they have no headset). I can't imagine why it would be for host or internal organization only. Thanks

  7. Lobby

If anonymous users are in the lobby (e.g. joining by first name only), it would be good to have a feature that allows communicating with users waiting in the lobby for identification (e.g. ask them to provide additional informaiton who they are). At present, you only have accept/reject option.

  8. Microsoft Teams Allow Domain List

Add the ability to create an allow domain list per Microsoft Teams (and Office Groups) instance. The only means to control allowed domain lists is at the Azure Active Directory tenant level. The SharePoint site collection allow domain list model is a good analogy where each site collection can have a dedicated allow domain list.

  9. Please make it easier to leave a guest organisation

as a guest in another company's organisation it is hard to leave that team yourself.
you can switch to it, but you can't manage your guest user itself or your membership

  11. When guest access is disabled in Teams, creating a new Team should disable external sharing in SharePoint site.

Imagine you Teams admin want to Teams to be secure and prohibit guest access in Teams, but allow your users to create their Teams by themselves and also allow external sharing in SharePoint sites other than Teams sites.

The problem is, when your users create a new Team, external sharing in SharePoint site is enabled and the users can invite new guests to the site and the guests can access files. This is what Teams admin don't like and may lead to a security issue,

    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    1. Enable external sharing (select 'New and existing guests') in…

  12. External Federation

    Hello,

My organization has just flipped the switch to go into Teams-Only Mode along with another O365 Tenant which was planned out perfectly.

Today we have done this & I can communicate via Chat/Call with the 3rd Party Tenant, however I cannot share files or perform screen shares. We also do not appear to be able to get Presence from these External Tenants.

When can we expect P2P File Sharing & Screen Sharing Capabilities. We had this in SfB as a native feature.

  13. Make chats with external persons less complicated

Switching between Microsoft accounts should not be necessary and adding external persons by selecting them from existing office 365 contacts should be more easy.

  14. Add the ability to Guests to delete and edit their own messages

The title speaks for itself. It's rather odd that owners can give Guests the permission to Create, update and delete channels but they can't delete or edit their own messages.

  15. Guest access

    Hi
This is not an idea this is feedback on how Microsoft Teams works. When you tell subscribers they can provide guest access to your apps (Microsoft Teams) I suggest you do not hide the limitation. You should have also announced that there is a limit of 5 Guest accounts per licensed user. This would have made it much easier to assess the usefulness of the change to your subscribers. Which is pretty much none. It is frustrating to start planning business processes around an app like Teams to find the limitation makes it worthless for the business process.

  16. Eliminate need for Teams app download for guest access

Regarding the Teams app, we see that you are enabling guest access in more simplified ways. That is very helpful.

However, we are interested in using Teams for prospecting new clients and find it cumbersome to request that they download the Teams App. Is MS planning on a future model where there is an online version of Teams for guest users that does not require a download for guest users?

  17. Please provide the status of Guests in a Team

Provide the status for Guests in a Team, so that their status is available for the team members.
Also the Guests should see the status of the other members of the team.

  18. switch org

I have two teams managed by separate O365 tenants. One set of folks from tenant A has been guest access to tenant B. However, as a member of tenant A there is no simple way to participate in both teams of A and B. I should be able to see the combined list of teams from both tenants from the app.

  19. More control over guest user interaction

We are using Teams as a project management tool and primarily with guest users/accounts. In many cases our guest users are likely not using Teams for any other purpose other than interacting with us on our projects. With that in mind:

It would be nice to have greater control over the default notification settings for guest users. Since our guest users aren’t normally using Teams as part of their daily workflow we need them to receive email notifications for any type of update in Teams to direct their attention to the app. And, in most cases, I would like an…

  20. Allow Members to add Guests

Currently only Owners of a Team are allowed to add Guests to the Team. It should be possible for Members of a Team to Add Guests as well (or ideally, have a Toggle in the Admin Center, where it is possible for the Admin to allow Members to invite Guests)
