  1. Interface for files

On a pc in legacy world, you Go to your drives and use x for personal y to access shared files.

In Teams this exists, by going to files on the left hand menu, or clicking on the team and accessing files..

It would be so much easier if users could go to a simple interface in teams where they see their shared spaces and their own files, and then be able to move files easily between them

In essence make it as close to the old cut the file from x and paste the file into y as possible...

  3. Dropbox sharing

Could be great if the dropbox integration could be used, to share company folders, and not just personal folders.

  6. Is there a file size limit?

I keep trying to upload a zip file (105,622KB). I do not get an error message, but I am getting an empty file in out files list. It just says that the size is 0.00 Bytes.

  7. download all files at once in a chat

We should be able to download all files at once in a chat message, instead of having to download them one at a time.

  8. Display PDF thumbnail in chat

When a PDF is attached to a chat, it displays as a PDF icon - it would be really helpful if it displayed it as a thumbnail

  9. When hovering on the attach button, include in the tool tip that they can drag and drop files here

When people are hovering on the attach icon, include in the tool tip verbiage that they can drag and drop files too rather than browse to it with the dialog box.

  10. Clearer verbiage of where the file is being stored when attaching to a chat or conversation

When you 'attach' a file to a chat or conversation, make some kind of quick balloon or label that points out that:
    1. The file shared in chat was put in your OneDrive under ad "teams chat" folder it has created and auto-shared the file with your chat partner(s)
    2. The file shared in a conversation was put into the channels Files tabs and linked to in the message you're composing

This helps people comprehend what is happening when they "attach" - all too often people think that deleting the conversation or chat is deleting the file - and it…

  11. I found how we can search our Saved content, with the command bar. Is there a way to group your saved Content, or maybe store them in folder

It is really cool that we can save our content.
But, is there a way to group all your save content into different catergories? Or, maybe save your content files, to a shared folder in Teams, or SharePoint integration, plug in?

  12. Multitouch gesture support for zooming documents/pdf etc in Teams.

It would be nice to have a consisted experience with Teams. I can't use my windows 10 multitouch gestures to zoom files like pdf or Word.

  13. Use hyphens between words in SharePoint site URLs to increase findability

When I create a new Teams space, e.g. Data & Integration Network, a SharePoint site is created in the background to store the files associated with the team.

Currently the URL of this SharePoint site becomes https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/DataIntegrationNetwork

To increase findability of this SharePoint site and its contents (outside Teams), the proposal is that you add hyphens as word brakers in the SharePoint site URLs. In the abovementioned example, the URL should be:
    https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/Data-Integration-Network

Since the SharePoint Online search engine uses hyphens as word brakers, this would make it possible to search for integration network and find this site by URL…

  14. Adobe InDesign cannot be viewed like other Adobe file types?

Unlike Photoshop and Illustrator files, InDesign files cannot be viewed in Teams. This is putting a damper on some CTE and district departments from fully adopting TEAMS.

  15. conversations

Having a conversation around a document is great - it would be even better if you could incorporate track changes and in-doc comments within the conversation instead of having to reference chagnes within the covo for feedback in the doc.

Also, pptx docs don't show sections in the slide sorter pane

  16. alphabetische Sortierung

Eine alphabetische Sortierung der Datein ist wünschenswert. Die neuesten Dateien immer zuoberst zu sehen ist nicht immer hilfreich.

  17. Submitting files in advance

I currently work as a teacher in a secondary school as a computing science teacher, unfortunately there was a fire and we have started the students again using Microsoft teams as a method of delivery. While planning lessons I like to stay ahead but am unable to upload lessons and resources too far in advance. I think a nice additional feature for teachers would be the ability to add files and the likes but choose when members are able to access or view it. Such as setting an “available to members: 9/9/18”

  18. Enable a Save As option on Files

Within Files in Teams, enable the ability to take an existing file and Save As to create another name, iteration, etc. of the content. This would be much faster than doing it outside of Teams and then having to upload.

  19. Have the ability to open multiple files at the same time, flick between them, make changes, and make it easier to save the updates.

Have the ability to open multiple files at the same time, flick between them with ease, make changes, and make it easier to save the updates. The present process is clunky, and not slick

  20. When trying to send existing file on iPhone via Teams cannot choose multiple recipients

For example, I have received an email with a pdf file on my iPhone. I would like to send it to a few Teams members. It won't allow me to do that, only one recipient can be chosen or existing group. In case I haven't got an existing group created with needed recipients I will need to send file separately to each one of them or go to Теамс first to create the group and then send the file. Teams should allow selecting multiple recipients or even groups maybe.
