  2. Incorporate time into status, i.e. "away 10 minutes"

    Similar to Skype for Business, include time with the status. For instance, "Away 10 minutes".

  3. Org chart inverted

    Display the Org Chart View from the bottom up. ie inverted. This would match organizations that have adopted this model of representing the company structure

  4. Ability not to show Disabled/Blocked users

    Presently users of "Blocked", "Unlicensed" and even Shared Mailboxes all show up in the search / can try to converse with them. Can these be filtered out / a setting to remove them from the teams search?

  5. Put Presence Text on Contact Popup

    Presence (text) doesn't appear anywhere except on mouseover for a split second before the contact card pops up.

    This needs to be addressed even without having other presence enhancements because until some of the other problems are fixed, most orgs using Teams will still rely on Teams PLUS their other corporate collaboration tool, and have to juggle what "yellow" means. Once better Presence/Status options are in place, this is a no-brainer.

  6. Teams presence API

    The goal is to have Teams presence API improved for developers to implement better interoperability and synchronization with other applications with user presence like Contact and Call Centers
    - Subscribing Teams presence for all organization users
    - Changing Teams user’s presence on behalf of the users using impersonation
    - Receiving a notification when Teams users’ presence changes (Available, DND, Busy, Off work) and when users’ call states change “In-a-Call”, “In-a-Meeting”

  7. Next Available Time In People Hover Card

    Soon we will be able to see real-time presence in Teams but as chat becomes more and more the primary tool to contact people it would be nice when you hover over the persons name you can get the real-time presence and next available time as well. The information is already available to Teams (Scheduling Assistant) so adding it in the hover card would not be that difficult (says the non-coder). Thanks!

  9. Presence based routing not available

    Hi All,

    I have had this discussion with Microsoft Support and they have confirmed that this is currently not available. At the moment we have a call queue that is set to Attendant Routing so it calls everyone in the group when a call comes in to the office. Currently this means whenever the phone rings, each persons Desktop Phone (Polycom VX410/411), Desktop PC and Mobile phone rings.

    We were recently swapped across to Teams in the backend and took the opportunity to move away from Slack and bring everything into the one tool. That part of it is great,…

  10. User’s display name in Microsoft Teams

    現在 Teams を多く利用しております。
    最新表示にそれぞれのユーザーの情報がユーザーの名前で表示されるため便利に確認しております。
    しかし日本語環境だと、名前のみで表示されているユーザーが多数おります。
    連絡先の項目内 ”表示名” に空白が入ると空白以降の表示となる動作は理解しておりますが、日本語環境だと、一般的に性の後に空白を入れ名前を入力する事が多いかと存じます。
    現在は Microsoft 365 管理センターにて変更をする事で表示を見やすいよう検討しておりますが、ユーザーが多数いて工数もかなりのものになるため、機能の拡張を要望します。

  11. Improvements NEEDED for "Contacts"

    For the "Contacts" in the "Chat" tab. Have ability like S4B to add Distribution groups. Also have ability to start a group chat from these groups, same as S4B. You don't always need a "Team" room for a quick group chat.
    Also need ability to move and sort these groups manually. Currently no way to sort manually, it does it automatic alphabetically.
    Every time you leave the "Contacts" in "Chat" and return all the groups are expanded. These should not auto expand, they should stay minimized until the user expands them manually when needed.

  12. Allow External Federated Users to be added to Contact List

    Require the ability to add external federated contacts to the Contacts list under the Chat section of Teams.

    At the moment, it is only possible to add internal users or guest accounts.

    Key requirement for allowing communication with federated partners as is available with Skype for Business.

  13. Provide an option within Settings to permanently collapse or hide the 'Suggested Contacts'. It is not useful.

    Offer the user an option to permanently collapse or hide the 'Suggested Contacts' that are constantly in an expanded view and must be collapsed with every login to Teams.

  14. Customize the order of my contact groups

    Hi, I want to customize the order of my contact groups. Favourites are always at the top, but I want another group at the top.

  16. I need a way to let my team members know I am out on vacation some kind of auto responder to put in a message?

    I am on vacation for a week it would be great to set a master out of office notification for all members to see in any channel the time for being out etc.

  18. List of attendees/non-attendees

    I love the ability to get a structure for the meeting in OneNote (list of attendees, link to meeting, etc) BUT would be great to have here who actually attended and who did not. Right now we have to go through the list and work out who attended/didn't attend. Would be fantastic if Teams/OneNote could do this for us.

  19. In Call (Mobile) Presence When In Cellular Call

    I am not sure if this is possible, but it would be wonderful for presence within MS Teams to reflect availability or presence based on whether or not a user is active on their phone -- and in particular if the user is in a cellular call.

  20. Associate user presence in other application using Teams client

    The following article says that, to show presence in other applications, Skype for Business must be installed. But I don’t want to use Skype for Business, so it would be great if you can improve this behavior to use Teams for user presence association with other applications.
